I am seriously craving a couple of chili dogs from the Varsity in Atlanta. Unfortunately, it is 4 hours away. I see that I can order cans of the chili and am considering doing so. There are no local places that have good chili dogs here in my town. My mouth is actually watering thinking of a chili dog!
What food are you craving right now?

You can order the chili cans, but it doesn't come w/the onion rings.

A pizza from a local chain. Hatch green chilis and spicy chicken sausage (also made locally), red sauce and cheese on a hand stretched crust with tiramisu for desert. I could also go for a fig, arugula and goat cheese with a hand stretched pizza from the same place, it is sorta like desert, but not and is meant to be a main course. My family thinks the fig pizza is meh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I tried to suggest the above to my son for lunch but he offered to pay, so Mexican it is. I know you didn't ask for a vote, but I would order enough cans for the whole family (plus an extra can that would be hidden away just for you). scrapmaven you brought up a good point. donna can you get onion rings closer to the house? You could be heating up the chili and hotdogs while your husband make an onion ring run.

I am not one for chili dogs, but a Coney dog? I crave them every so often. We travel almost an hour to get to a total hole in the wall place that does the very best Coney dog I have ever tasted. DH and I were about 20 minutes from there last week so stopped in and had some. Delicious. I post on the dinner thread and I have found that someone will mention what they are having for dinner and it gives me a craving for it. Yesterday sueg said she was having BBQ chicken pizza. And I've decided I can't take it any longer, I'm heading out of work to the grocery store because I want it for dinner tonight.

I have recently become a tiny bit obsessed with Mod Pizza. It is like going into a Subway except for pizza. So many delicious choices on a thin crust. I get the garlic added to the sauce and mmmmm. Love it.

I’m not really a hotdog person however that was my big pregnancy craving - not just any hotdogs either. Expensive all beef kosher hotdogs from a specific kosher store. It got to the point where they would see me park and make my hotdog before I waddled in & got online!
Once I had the baby poof back to not really caring for hotdogs including those. Didn’t have a craving with the second kid

Once DH refused to go get me one because he said I'd just throw it up again, so I cried and threw something at the kitchen window. Ah, pregnancy hormones. ETA: right now I'm craving a chili dog. Thanks a lot, donna.

I want to sit down with a whole pan of those Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownies. They sell the mix in a giant box at Costco and DH isn’t supposed to eat that stuff so I haven’t been making it. Since we’re dreaming, I might as well dump a quart of homemade vanilla ice cream on top along with the pint size mason jar full of ganache left over from when the last time I made a cheesecake. What the heck, might as well dream big!

Anything with carbs since I swore off them 2 wks ago. I was ok the first week but now that's all I want and it's driving me nuts. I made sloppy joes for dinner and DH bought these georgeous crusty rolls. I had to eat my salad in the other room, couldn't stand it.

Jalapeño poppers.
My SIL grows her own jalapeños, stuffs them with cream cheese and cheddar, and grills them.
I swear I could be cast in the restaurant scene of When Harry Met Sally with my reaction to them.

Donna....I hope you order that chili !!!! I have had VERY strong cravings for things from far-away restaurants before, and gone to their websites to see if they ship; but they don't. But for my Dad, I DID find 2 restaurants that ships his favorite ribs and pies ----great gift!!! I'm not craving anything tonight, but just from reading this thread, I can *almost* guarantee I'll crave chili dogs in the next couple days!

Everything!! I'm doing Weight Watchers and, while I can have a lot of things, carbs are low on the list and Tates chocolate chip cookies are high only list.
