Do you ever make a layout that's just totally you? I did. It took me a couple of weeks to actually finish it, because I was scared of ruining it. I posted about it on my blog, today: 3 girls picnic, and also a bit about my accidental project to scrap all of my 2013 photos. I'm not a chronological scrapper and I get easily overwhelmed by big projects, so that's why this one was an accident..it just sort of started happening. What makes a YOU project totally YOU?

Love the journaling. Very Dr Suess-esque. I think your girls will love being able to look back on that someday.
I'm not sure what makes a project me; patterned paper for sure. I never make a page without some pp. Interesting to think about. Thanks for sharing your page.

Your layout is so amazing Ashley...it does seem so you! I love the details...the Things That Shine gem and triangles are so awesome and cute. I also totally love your scrapbooking philosophy...I think I will have to adopt it...it is lovely!!!!! I think what makes a project really me is layers and layers and seeing through things. Letting surprises happen.... my blog: Artful Scrapbooking

Ashley, your page is just lovely.

Your l/o is beautiful Ashley! The lacy background is incredible and I'd say those dots of gold are really you. (You're the one who got me interested in using gold on a few of my l/o's. ) It's hard to say what makes a l/o "me"; these days I'm just happy getting a l/o done. But I do try to use layers of pp on most of my l/o's nowadays. Thanks for showing us your wonderful work. Maria

Count me in as another that loves the journaling! I'm not sure if there is one thing that is me when it comes to layouts. I do use patterned paper quite a bit, love to use doilies although I try not to use them on every girlie layout that I do, and love mists. That being said, I really try to do techniques that push me out of my comfort zone whether it be with paints, watercolors, or stamping.

Your journaling is great. I really like the white lacy look, it pops.
