UPDATE 3/4/18: Okay so the adhesive is not strong enough on the lights. They are falling off every so often. So, I am adding small magnet sheets cut to fit over the adhesive. That way the lights won’t fall off.
Okay, it has been driving me crazy when I work in my room in the early morning, on days it is dark and rainy, or in the evening when it is dark. I cannot see on the 2nd and 3rd shelf of my Raskog. In the photo it looks like I can but in reality, I cannot. I cannot tell you how many times I have pulled out the wrong thing. So the other morning I was so frustrated and went to grab a flashflight. Then I thought "Why not get a tough light?" They arrived from amazon yesterday, and this morning I am in heaven. I can see everything though in the photos it looks worse but it truly is awesome! So, if you are having trouble seeing on your shelves, I highly recommend a tough light!

Love that idea...I use my cart the opposite way so it seems to be easier to see what's on the shelves as everything points to the wider section.

Great Idea!
Slight Hijack - I have a Raskog still in the box. I just got it yesterday. I can see where the lighting would be an issue, but my concern is how easy is it go get stuff off the second or third shelves. I'm trying to figure this out before I open the box and assemble it. And does it roll well on carpet? I'm thinking of using it for my stamps, dies and embossing folders, and my containers for those are getting heavy.

GiantsFan - You have to watch how heavy it is to roll it on a carpet. Attached is a pic of mine, which as you can see is filled with my card making stuff, paper pads, pens, markers paint brushes and scoreboard. I don't move it around much but having my paper face in this direction makes it easy to see, not sure if that would work with other supplies, so patter's suggestion might be worth considering..

My husband bought me lights to go in my closet. They have three settings, recharge with a usb cord, and are magnetic. They would work really well with the cart.

My lower shelves are kind of dark, but I don't feel I can't see. I guess it depends on what you have under there. Great idea, though.

I also have a congenital eye problem and the older I get, the harder it is for me to see in shadowy/dark conditions. I didn’t use to feel like I had this problem until the last few months. Probably age and my eye problem as I said.

Have you changed how you store your PL cards? I used to love your organization posts - I was a lurker at the old peas site (lol, and the CK boards as well).

Patter, great idea. I often feel I can not see when using my sewing machine, this might be a good fix!

mich5481, yes, I have changed my PL card storage a bit. First, I got rid of a TON. Second, I sort them by color now. The top shelf hold the 3x4 cards. The 2nd and 3rd rows have the 4x6x cards in photo boxes by color. Love that I can grab a box and look through them quickly to find what I want. This is working very well for me. I am going to do a blog post about it but haven’t had time to get it together yet. I may do a video.

I prefer blog posts with pictures because it is easier to read those when I am in a public place than watch a video, where it might call attention to the fact that I am not paying attention to other things... ;-)

I like that you put magnetic holders on the side. I’ll be getting some of those in the near future.
