I felt like a hurricane was brewing over our house last night. One of our heavy metal outdoor chairs blew over. We're expecting wind gusts up to 50 MPH today and they are advising that no one tries to drive up to Lake Tahoe until late Saturday. It's nasty out there.

We were supposed to be in Tahoe this week and would've been coming home today, but we had to cancel for other reasons. It would've been nice to be stuck up there for an extra few days. LOL!
At my house, Santa Cruz Mountains, it rained like crazy between 2 and 6 am, with only a few gusts of wind. Nothing close to 50 mph though. And no roof leaks this time around, so I'm happy.

I think I read that they are expecting between 5 - 7 feet of snow at Tahoe!

I am in the central valley and it is hitting us now. I'm afraid to look in the backyard, it's so windy.
