There are some tricks to using the Stamparatus.
One, if you like to place the stamp in a corner, use a couple of pieces of cardstock underneath the paper you're stamping and you'll get great results.
Or, you can place the image in the middle of the plate and stamp normally.

I would like to have a stamp platform that I don't have to rig up with extra shims or stick my cardstock out in the middle to avoid the corners. I see that as a design flaw. Maybe we don't have the final best positioner yet. I'm pretty good with my TH, but mine is the overseas version and some users in the US are not getting good impressions. I don't have my travel size TH yet. Maybe they made some improvements. I'm looking into the Vaessen Stamp Easy that is available overseas. It has hinges and little rubber feet which might allow it to come straight down without the bumper issue. The WRMK with the pegs and rubber feet comes out in May. I'm willing to go one more round with another stamp positioner because I use them so much for layering stamps and doing multiples. Surely someone will bring one to market that gives a good impression out of the box.

My friend whose Stamparatus was not stamping well in the corner found this video and it has worked for her. She now gets perfect images. She bought the materials at Home Depot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPhuqasugwQ

However, the point is, one should not have to jump through hoops and buy extra "parts" to get a $50 piece of equipment to work. I just don't understand why people think this is acceptable. One should be able to simply use it as advertised - period! (Just my humble opinion.)

Totally agree about all this rigging. Seems like maybe they could test these out before they rush them to market.
