I’m looking to replace all the towels with just white ones. I’m tired of drab looking towels. We just finished a total bathroom renovation and new towels would look great. I know they shoul be all cotton for the best absorption but what else do I need to know? Is there a brand I should look out for?

I really like Land's End Supima towels. They're thick and soft and absorb well. (I don't wash them with fabric softener, that inhibits absorption.) They're a little pricey (I'd wait for a sale or coupon) but they last for ages.

We have white towels and want to forewarn you that those will also eventually be drab and not as crisp. But it will take awhile, I think ours are close to seven years old and I am just now thinking it is time to replace them because I can't get them as white as I used to. They are fine otherwise, they will just become pet towels.
I've had good luck with towels from TJMaxx. Good quality and not terribly expensive. I just make sure to buy a full set at once because you never know if they will get any more of the same style in.

I recently purchased and love the Quick Dri towels from JCP. They are very reasonably priced and are soft and super absorbent.

If you wear make up on a regular basis buy black wash cloths and hand towels for when you wash your face.

I just bought 2 towels @ Home Goods. They are Hotel Balafour brand. They are the nicest, softest towels I’ve ever bought, and they cost about $9.00 each. I would love to have more like them. Another good feature of this brand is that the band near the ends of the towel does not shrink. I really dislike towels which shrink after being laundered, and these didn’t. They are slightly over sized, also. I’ll say it again:❤️❤️❤️ these towels!

I have all white towels and I love that I can bleach them. I have been meaning to get some colored towels for the ones I wipe my face on though, because they are getting dingy faster than the others from makeup.

I have had all white towels for over 30 years. It’s easy, no worries about whether they are from different dye lots.
I prefer a bath sheet to a bath sized & now am liking thinner ones.

We did that! I love that I can throw them in a hot wash with bleach and they come out looking brand new. I honestly bought the ones that were at Costco. Hand towels, washcloths, bath towels, and bath sheets. Love it!

All our towels come from Costco. I think its Charisma brand. (I always cut the tags off)
We only had white towels until recently. Be warned that white towels will start to look a shabby grey color after a while. The while depends on your water.

The Big One sold by Kohl's. Catch them on sale and they are very affordable, last for years.

white towels are my worst nightmare. Ha ha! Same here. That would last about 15 seconds in my house! Ditto! DD's towels and face cloths are always stained with fake tan and makeup. I now buy her dark coloured towels and face cloths. I’m looking to replace all the towels with just white ones. I’m tired of drab looking towels. We just finished a total bathroom renovation and new towels would look great. I know what you mean. After our bathroom reno we bought new towels in black, grey, mint and turquoise to match the decor. I got ride of most of the old towels in the colours that no longer matched.

Hand towels, washcloths, bath towels, and bath sheets. Love it! Good to know! I was just looking at the towels at Costco the other day and considering getting all white for my bathroom. I have plenty of towels now that are still in great shape, but I hate them. I have some in burgundy and another batch in black. What was I thinking with black towels? With all of my pets, the towels won’t go to waste. Plus, there is always a call for rugs and towels from the pet rescue groups. White just looks so clean and fresh. I may make a Costco run next week.

After they left, I noticed that some of my never before used towels had bleach marks on them, probably from her makeup remover. I knew it wasn’t from anything we did because I’d only washed them once before they came, I never use that bathroom to shower (and don’t wear makeup) and DD was still using her hooded baby towels at the time. How annoying.

I wasn't so much to switch over to white towels but the thought of drab white towels coming sooner than later makes me pause.
