My son’s class is learning about idioms and they doing a dress up day next week. My son picked, “running out of steam.” It is not a very googleable thing. I’m hoping all you clever peas will have some fun ideas.

Can he wear a running/jogging outfit, and carry a large water bottle that has a homemade label that reads "steam" with a meter that shows it is on "E" (empty)?
ETA
He could wear a number like a marathon runner wears. Wear a sweatband on his head. Running sneakers.
