* Misspelled words * Punctuation errors (missing or extra apostrophes, missing commas, etc.) * Products that are over-priced because they are marketed to scrapbookers, stampers, and mixed media people (tools, storage products, embellishments, etc.)

Alpha square stickers where the squares are different sizes. I just used a set at a crop that drove me batty because it looks ridiculous on the finished layout. The c's, e's etc. are much shorter than the b's, d's t's, etc. and the m's & w's are wider than the other letters. You can't avoid seeing it because the background of the square is dark blue and stands out on the layout and looks clunky. I also don't like mixed font alpha sets. My Little Shoebox & Making Memories alpha squares were like this & I rarely used those and still have them sitting in my stash. Once in a while I pull them out & try to use them. I really wish Carolee's Adornit still made their mini alpha squares. They were awesome, as were October Afternoon's larger ones. YES!!! That is why I loved OA mini market stickers so much, too.

Since you said crafting world, and not just scrapbooking, anyone who undermines true talent and subsequent cost of that talent and/or supplies. Scrapbooking-wise, I'd say anyone who won't share where a product is from or a technique they used. I feel like I know the jist of it now, but in the early days people could be so rude! Like I was asking for the actual layout they were working on when all I'd say was, "that layout is fabulous. How did you distress the edges like that?" Edit: actually I just recently saw this happen. I'm in a secret SVG group on Facebook that shares primarily Disney images for home use in crafts. A member used images to create a beautiful layout, and then shared it to a scrapbook layout group I'm in. Anyone who asked how she did it she would say, sorry, I can't say. She could have at a minimum said how the images were created by tracing in inkscape, but no. To build on this, people in the community who chose to be catty or rude in response to someone's question rather than helpful. On fb the other day, I saw someone post their confusion about their alphabet dies (they are "backwards," but that's just because that's how dies work). I was a little disheartened by the amount of people who chose to be rude about it, rather than help. Or like comment with snark why it'll right as if they are the first in 100 comments to say it cuts the mirror image. It's a little jarring to see a backward capitol Q for the first time, ladies, no need to insult the poster!

I hate all of the background events that happen. If you are filming, your husband shouldn't come in and ask you a question or a screaming baby in the background prompts a long story about how sick your kid is. Stop filming. Take care of the baby. Edit out your husband's questions. I do, however, love it when a cat comes walking through the filming. Cats doing their thing belong in scrapping videos.I absolutely HATE seeing the cats walking all over the desk. Nine times out of ten, I turn the video off right there and then. Those cats walk where they shit, for god's sake! I don't care if they lick it all off during their disgusting self-grooming; I still know this in my brain and I cannot watch beyond that point. I am such a pet person. Personally, I think our pets are much cleaner than the ladies' bathrooms in almost any store. I often see people walk out of the bathroom without washing and you just have to know there is shit everywhere you touch!

Sparked by the video poll, I dislike videos where the presenter isn’t prepared to film, and babbles or films facing themselves when its a process viseo. And for pete’s sake if you are showing me a die or stamp please show what it looks like in use. I hate all of the background events that happen. If you are filming, your husband shouldn't come in and ask you a question or a screaming baby in the background prompts a long story about how sick your kid is. Stop filming. Take care of the baby. Along the videos, when a Youtuber scolds viewers for downvotes. I unsubscribed to a channel because the woman bitched how one of her recent videos got more downvotes than all her other videos, and if you don’t like what she did, you “don’t have to watch.” They immediately got a downvote from me on both the complaining video and the one that got the downvotes. I hardly ever downvote a video. One of the main reasons I will is if the filmer whines about downvotes.

Videos with too much hand waving. It’s really distracting. Also videos where the presenter is unprepared or doesn’t edit out distractions and interruptions. American Crafts taking over Bazzill People at crops not using earbuds to listen to videos or whatever it is they are watching. People talking so loudly everyone has to hear them. When my adhesive is discountinued

Embellishment products that come in pots that you use once, take care to seal it up tightly only to find it totally dried out the next time you open them.

I hate seeing DT layouts where the main focus is a cut file. It's fine if the DT is for the cutfile but if it's not, I think the focus be on the products you're selling.

I get that it’s a big thing but I’m not going to buy a machine and there’s some seriously cute cut files! Drives me batty that I can’t use them!

Faces on items and especially on food, à la Doodlebug.
People whose phone rings or beeps while they're filming a video.

There is one youtuber in particular that over edits to the point where it is unwatchable because it is so choppy.

My biggest pet peeve has been the same for years-pink in almost every kit club and every line out there. Not everyone loves all things pink but if you question it it is always the same response "it is the most requested color by our consumers".

Bad adhesive on thickers. The dots for letters like "I". They are such a pain to glue down. Not enough masculine products unless it is little boy stuff. You tubers who ramble in their videos. Can't stand cats wandering through the shot on a video. Once, ok. But then get the cat and shut them out of the room.

In all my years of scrapping this is the first time this has happened.. Missing letter from a sheet of alpha stickers.. and I mean, not even printed!! There was NO letter "P".. at all. I looked at that sheet for 10 minutes thinking I was looking at it wrong.. I couldn't even tell you the brand name.. I thought it might have been Thickers.. but there is no label. The top 1/2 of the alpha is pink and in a different font from the bottom 1/2 where the stickers are a light orange and cursive font. And they are glitter stickers.

Love cats in videos Don't so much like kids in videos...like when they let a 4 year old narrate...uh uh, nope. Can't watch. But it's not a "pet peeve"...I just don't watch...so no problem! Adhesive items not sticking, and un-cut letter stickers are my biggest peeves too! Oh, and off-centre sticker sheets (I hate really uneven borders on my labels/stickers)

I even had my daughter look at it. And there are 2 sheets and no extra letters.. one of each.. even vowels. So I have exactly 2 of each and that is it. Pretty letters though.. HA

Mine is alphas where they give you the same quantity of commonly used letters as X,Y, & Z. Stupid! omg...yes! the "E"s, why not enough "E"s? i know manufacturers do it to get you to buy multiple packs but come on. just last night i was going through a giant mound of extra letters. just so much of it! what am i supposed to do with all that? stickers, metal, chipboard, jellies, thickers......

I HATE when I finish a 12x12 layout and then find out that it isn't a true 12x12 size and it either isn't big enough for the page protector or it's too big and I have to trim a bit off the side(s). So frustrating. If it says 12x12, it should be 12x12!

I have a pet peeve to add today!!! I put off buying 2 things for my scrap storage for months. Been looking forward to making the purchase but needed to wait until we had the money because they were an investment. First off: I opted for slightly thinner adhesive backed magnet for my die storage cards (I make my own and buy it on large rolls and cut it down) after having had a great deal of success the first time I ordered from this company. The thinner material (15mil instead of 30mil) apparently also means: adhesive sucks. I have to press each card through my bigkick to get it to not slide right off of the card (and even then, I may have to go back and add more glue to some of them as time goes on). I did not have this issue the first time around. Secondly: I ordered 500 sleeves for my 3x4 stamps. I should have enough to last me 10 years. I didn't like the customer service with this company but liked the product (purchased from a 3rd party previously and no longer available) so figured I could deal for the only purchase I needed to make for a very long time. It arrived today 300 short. And because of them being in a different time zone, they are closed. I struggle with being in limbo. I paid via PP money request due to some issues with my initial purchase to start with so I have no recourse if they tell me 'tough'. Part of why I have a hard time committing, especially to things that are a significant investment, is because I almost expect there to be a problem. I've been looking forward to getting this stuff all set up in my craft space for months and both of these companies have ruined that for me. I just hate it when everything seems to fall apart. I just want to make my scrap room prettier AND more functional. Is that too much to ask for?!

My pet peeve of YouTubers is where they hum and haw as they haven't taken time to think about the process & their ideas in advance so they are winging it & not helping anyone. And as for the ones who can't find something as they are doing their LO but don't turn off the camera during their extended search ... they too are a turn off for me.

My main pet peeve is companies that charge ridiculous amounts for products that can be purchased other places for less!
as for videos, you guys have me scared to make a video now, LOL! I think I'll just remain a viewer and stick to my blog!

my pet peeve is "special" scrapbook storage items that ARE THE EXACT SAME THING as they sell for, say, jewelry, but they double the price. I just got a special "inkpads" clear acrylic desktop shelf that was marketed for nail polish and it was $10 or something. The "scrapbook item" (exactly the same thing) was like $23. That pisses me off.

I think I'll just remain a viewer and stick to my blog! I can't do videos because I can't stand the sound of my own voice. That would make editing very difficult. The few videos that I have done have included 'I do not edit my videos so this is take 97' or something to that effect. I also apologize for my nails (nail biter, not attractive to look at close up if you're not used to them) and for talking fast. I swear I'm talking at a reasonable speed only to discover I'm talking without taking a breath for like 5 minutes and my planned quick video ends up something like 50...I gave up trying a long time ago. And you all think I'm long winded HERE! LoL! ETA: re my issue above: they realized just looking at the weight of the package that it wasn't right and are sending out the 300 missing ones priority (the first order took 9 days going snail mail) but with weather issues in the northeast, they may not arrive all that quickly. I don't need them fast, but the fact that the first person I talked to basically said a 57 cent accommodation would bankrupt them I decided not to tell them it was okay to send them the most cost efficient method possible.

Oh I just thought of another one! What is with the videos that seem like they are in slow motion? I can never tell if it's the video that's slowed down or the crafter just moving slowly. Even though I love her to bit Chari from Lawn Fawn does this. I just want to yell for her to move it along! LOL She makes me almost nod off while watching!

My phone doesn't like it so it starts to skip at 2x speed and sometimes at 1.5x speed, but I do watch a lot of videos at 1.25x to help with this problem. You used to not be able to do it on phones, but the latest app update changed that. The only place I can't speed it up now is on my tablet as the app there isn't the same as my phone (unless I just need to update that one, too).
