Really nothing. I rarely buy much of anything. Not that I can't afford it, but I just don't WANT it. I have few clothes, and really no buying until I need something. I feel like such an outcast! OH NO ! We must get you hooked on something !!!!! |

Books- avid reader and I love shopping in a book store than any other store.
Purses- I get 4 to 5 new purses a year, I have a closet full.

Halloween decor. I set up our garage for neighborhood kids with glowing, hands-on science experiments. I came home with a 8" plasma ball I found on clearance last week and my husband just rolled his eyes.  |

Dogs & cats!! I've got 3 cats & 3 dogs. I'd say that is plenty. My son & his family live next door & they have 2 dogs & 1 cat so we are pretty full! I admit I am thinking about getting a few peacocks!!! They are supposed to be great watch birds to alert you when coyotes are coming into their yard. I live on acreage so I have plenty of room for all the pets to roam free if they want or lounge in the house.....well the birds can stay outside in a nice A/C & heated shed if need be. delila Rodents. Of varying types, we currently have 5 degus in 2 cages, a chinchilla in another cage and a rat in another. To be fair, I didn't BUY them all, some have ended up with us as kind of rescues. We've only got one cat though so we're good. I'd totally have a dog if we had space! |

J Crew chino shorts. And white clothing - seriously, i have 4 pairs of white jeans, 2 white dress pants, white linen pants, 3 or 4 white dresses, 4 pairs of white shorts, 5 or 6 button downs, and countless white tees and tops.

Add me to the list of fabric and yarn.
I'm determined to use up my supplies as much as possible but yet I keep coming home with fabric and yarn. Fabric I can justify as the majority of it is being used right away. But the hoard in my closet? I'm not making much headway on that.
I have to resist yarn sales. I love independent yarn dyers. I have amassed a collection of yarn that I just cannot bring myself to knit up.

Poultry seasoning at Thanksgiving time. YES!! I went through my spices last year when I was pregnant and nesting and I had 4 or 5 UNOPENED poultry seasonings. My other overpurchase is sour cream. We love ourselves some sour cream in this house, but on occasion I realize there are 4 tubs of it in the fridge and there are two people who eat regular food in this home. |

Chapstick/lip balm, make-up brushes and pajamas.
I have chapsticks everywhere. In every room, drawer and counter top (and the car). YDS also has the chapstick addiction, so between the two of us, we are almost drowning in the damn little tubes. Still, we both buy more every time we're at the store.
I'm addicted to make-up brushes. I have over 200. It's not enough.
I live in PJs, as I don't leave the house most days. I see no reason to dirty up day clothes if I can just stay in my comfy PJs instead. I just bought a new PJ top tonight, as a matter of fact.

Fabric Fabric Fabric More fabric This would be me. In our old house I had lots of places to store (hide) it. Then we moved. The new house is 1,000 sqft smaller. Way better layout and really does work better for us. But the 1,000 we lost - that was where my fabric, scrapbook stuff, and books were. They are now in the garage. I was good for a little bit on not buying anymore unless it was to finish something. And then a bunch of the custom knit groups I'm on had amazingness (that won't arrive for 10-14 weeks) on preorder. And another favorite wovens group was having a great sale. I mostly just sew for dd (she'll be 7 next week), thankfully we have another baby girl arriving hopefully on Saturday (I really want a St. Patrick's Day baby). So I'll have another girl to sew for. My 5-year-old ds keeps asking me to sew for him, but girly floral fabric is so much more fun! |
