This is the first time I've ever heard of something like that happening. How exciting for your great niece. I'm sorry she got sick, but it's wonderful that her vision has been restored!

How amazing! This story gave me goosebumps. Can you imagine how much her life changed when she found out she was blind, and now will change again? I'm sure this is surreal!

You may remember I asked for thoughts and prayers for my ten year old great niece who was going blind. By April she was legally blind--20/200. The last two weeks she has had mono and sometime or other her tonsils have grown back. The doctors say the mono virus must have been lying dormant on her optic nerve. As of last Friday, her vision and colors have returned and her vision is now normal--20/20. I call this a miracle. Thank you so much for your help!
I never saw your original post, but this is wonderful news!
