What do you need to buy but for whatever reason, haven't?
I need new throw pillows for my couch. I have big, oversized ones that have funny birds on them. They have been washed a hundred times. They are stained, they are torn, my chihauha is starting to pull the stuffing out. My problem is that I haven't found any I like to replace them and the oversized ones cost a bunch of money that I just can't seem to want to spend $60-$80 on throw pillows. I am debating sewing some.

We need a new fridge, but really not fun.
We need a new couch but can't agree.
I need new jeans but really hate the thought.
I need new boots. Not the right season I guess but I've never been able to find what I want.

Yep, sew them! IKEA has big throw pillows for around $10 I think and then you can choose your favorites fabrics out of all the fabrics ever.
Flooring. We can't afford the quality we want so we're putting off making a decision. And that was fine because we needed to do our taxes to make a decision about how we are doing our stairs. But those were completed last night so time's up.
eta: and new paint color because I am indecisive, and new curtains because I can't find a style I like...

A new light fixture for the dining room. I found ones I like on Wayfair, but I need to find a chunk of time to really examine the dimensions vs. the space we want to mount the light. I also need a new TV table set, but damn they are expensive for good quality. We also want to get new windows for the house, but we haven't scheduled anyone to come out and give us estimates yet, partially due to the time we would need to devote to setting it up, meeting people at the house, etc.

I agree, sew some. I get the two pack of pillow forms with a coupon at JoAnn’s and make my own. The thing I was dragging my heels on was new liners for my winter boots. Mine had holes worn through the soles and it was driving me nuts. The outside of the boot is still fine, but the insides were shot. The annoying thing was, the replacement liners were $25 at the store and a whole new similar pair of boots on Amazon was $29. Amazon didn’t have just the liners. Go figure. I finally ordered them online ship to store and picked them up yesterday because the store didn’t have any in my size. The thing I’m dragging my heels on today is red and blue thread. I’m working on a project and went to refill the bobbin with red thread and the spool ran out! The worst part is I’m working on the hem of this thing and it’s the last thing I need red thread for. Also marshmallow creme, I need some for a recipe I want to make but Target didn’t have it which means I have to go to the grocery store. And I hate going to the grocery store.

a mattress for my bed. The one I have now was my parents for about 12 years, they moved it to the rarely used guest room for another 20 years and gave it to me when I moved back to the mainland... 10 years ago. It was just supposed to be temporary until I got settled.. yes, I am sleeping on a 40 year old mattress!
I am also needing to replace my dryer which will lead to also replacing my washer.
I don't have the mental or physical energy to do all that shopping!!

Ugh. New flooring for our downstairs and living room furniture. I dread it.
We recently purchased a new car. After 18 months of research. Guess what we bought? Same exact thing we had!

A lot of things unfortunately, but the most immediate are a new swimsuit and a formal dress. DH was invited to his company's presidential trip and he's earned it. I should be happy for him, but honestly I wish we they'd just add it as a bonus instead of a trip where there's a black tie formal dinner and the rest of the weekend is upscale resort wear. I shouldn't have to spend big bucks as a reward. And swimsuit shopping is right up there on the bucket list with getting ALL my teeth pulled out for dentures.
He's excited and feels like it's a vacation. Um nope, vacation is doing stuff I want to do instead of stuff I have to do with people I know/love instead of strangers. I know, I know, I'm a negative Nellie.

dewryce, it is dangerous to send me to the IKEA! It's been a while since I've been there. It's about 1 hour, 15 minutes from my house so we don't go very often. But I am thinking maybe next time DH and I have a weekend without kids maybe we should go. I also need to recover the chairs in my dining room. It may be nice to get a coordinating fabric since the rooms are a bit on the open side.

You are my spirit animal. Ditto on the flooring and car. We're on our 3rd Toyota Highlander. We currently own 2. Dark silver and light silver. LOL

The car thing is my DH! He will research like crazy, hem and haw, and then buy the same exact model. He's driven a VW Jettas since 1996, lol! That's decades of the same car and then agonizing over purchasing another one, only to purchase the same thing. In all fairness, much of it is having a reputable, honest mechanic who only works on VWs.

Yeah, coordinating the fabric would look really good. Fun!

My answer was, is and forever will be BRAS. Ugh. Hate bra shopping.
On the other hand, I did just order some new makeup products online which I'm excited to try. I usually just pick up super cheap stuff at drugstore or even the dollar store (don't laugh). I'm not good at picking out stuff and the amount of products just overwhelms me. I just went to a Youtube video of someone who I think does her makeup well and ordered a few of the things she uses. We'll see!

I need bras that fit properly. I will not shop for them any time soon. I hate clothes shopping but bra shopping is the worst.
We also need a new tub/enclosure. Ours is one piece and there’s a crack in the tub. Dh sealed it but no one can take a bath, including the 2 year old who loves the water. She gets showers or a bath in the kitchen sink. Dh thinks it’s going to be a huge and expensive job. I say just get someone to give an estimate already. He wants to use any tax refund we may receive ( the taxes aren’t done yet) to buy a band saw. I have better ideas 😊

Right now, bras. I've lost weight and none of my bras fit, but I don't want to sink a bunch of money into bras because I will lose another size by the time I finish losing weight, and will just have to buy more. But I'm reaching the point where I am going to have no choice since my current ones are not doing their job!

We need a new couch. The one we have is only a few years old but was a big disappointment and became tired and worn very quickly. I’m thinking at this point we may just wait until it actually falls apart underneath us. Then we’ll chuck it out and get a new one.

We need a new fridge, but really not fun. We just bought a new one after procrastinating about it for almost a year. Ours was zapped by a power surge and our deductible was almost as much as a new fridge. We had a small one in our barn that we pulled into the house and have been using but it was really too small. We just didnt' want to spend that kind of money. Lowe's has them on sale right now through tomorrow. We got a pretty good deal but man I hate spending that kind of money on something that really isn't all that fun lol.

I need a dresser. Apparently what I like/want may not exist, I still haven't found the one.
I too need new throw pillows and can't find what I like in stores. I went to calico corners the other day and got samples of several fabrics. Hopefully I can get rolling on that soon.

I procrastinated buying a new laptop for weeks. I hate the one I have (no computer should take five minutes to go from sleeping to usable.) I put off buying one because the specs I wanted ended up costing about 50% more than I wanted to spend. The new one will be here tomorrow. Hopefully I love it because I'll be using it for five years to make the cost make sense. I'm putting off buying a lot of other things for financial reasons. There are things we need to replace at home, but DH promised the kids a big vacation this year instead. Family memories are better than a new couch, right?

I need new exercise bras. The current crop have a hook that I am unable to bend back into shape on every bra, so it digs into my back if I sit up straight. I have never been one for racer backs, but I am going to consider them now.

I usually go only a couple of times a year though. DH keeps wanting to go try the breakfast there one Saturday, but I keep putting him off. I'm afraid he'd really like it, then want to go all the time! I'm dragging my feet on rugs for the dining area and the kitchen, as well as new dining chairs. Can't decide on a rug for the kitchen and we can't agree on chairs for the dining room. Since we ended up buying a new tv on Sunday, I think I'll be dragging my feet a little longer.

I sew my own cushions, I can get more of what I want that way, so I vote for sewing them. And bonus, they're cheaper too.
We need to buy a new tv for our familyroom, but we're dragging our feet. No idea why, I mean we're going to buy one at some point. I'd rather just buy it and get it over with, but my husband isn't there yet.

OMGoodness casii, your DH cracks me up. My Dad shops for everything for months on end. He's got to research every single detail for every purchase. Cars are no exception. Then...he chooses a Cadillac. Every, single time. And I agree with everyone who said bras. They are so damn expensive. And if you have big ones, they are ugly. So no fun!
