These are my favorite pens to write with because they're so smooth, but often the tip ends up pushing up into the pen and then it doesn't write as smoothly. Does anyone have any fixes for this? I'm hoping someone knows a secret to help me!

I’ve had one of my sets for years... and I mean years. Like 8-10 years, they’re still going strong. I just have so many other pens I write with now that I forgot about them for quite some time.
That said, I think it just has to do with how much pressure you write with because I don’t have this problem. Have you tried to GENTLY pull the nib out with flat, needle nose pliers?
I know there is a line of fine felt tip pens out there like these that are made with a super hard barrel around the nib that is supp to help prevent it from going in for harder writers. Let me see if I can find it.
