She has a fabulous boutique in Omaha. I ordered a top from her about two years ago and it came with a piece of original "art" from Alice. Believe it or not, I still have that art taped to the wall inside my closet!

She had a pic of her and her husband in her signature. He was really tall and she was very petite. I remember her. She's amazing.

I thought there was a minor controversy with her. I probably have her confused with someone else. I think she left around the time she separated from her husband but I don't remember controversy. I followed her blog a while. She was an AirBnB host a while, and launched Hello Holiday, and is now running for legislature. I think she's so admirable. |

I do remember her and the picture in her siggie with her husband. I always thought they were so cool. Sorry to hear they separated, but sounds like she has landed on her feet.

I'm fairly sure the minor controversy had to do with her letting peas know about her emerging business and providing a way for peas to support her and order. I think the controversy you're thinking of was the pea who made and sold cookies. |

I think the controversy you're thinking of was the pea who made and sold cookies. A lot of people got caught up in that (including Princess Lasertron). It was a little ridiculous and I’m glad we don’t have that stupid rule, here. |

I don't remember the controversy... but I do remember the button bouquets. There is an artist there who makes them. I always wondered if they were the same person.

jen- If she's still doing the bouquets, I think you can order a kit to make your own if the finished bouquets are too expensive. I thought about that for DD's wedding, but we went a different direction.

It's a shame she separated from her husband, they seemed to be a good couple. Quite possible that others close to them were not surprised...you just never know
