It depends on your fixture. I do buy my OTT light bulbs from Amazon or JoAnn. But, my fixture takes a round bulb.

I have two OTT lights. Two different models. DH didn't know which one to get so he got both.
Can you pull out the bulb of the one you like and look at the numbers on the plug part, then order the same one?

I will say that if you want to purchase one from JoAnn, check it out on the website first. They only carry a limited range of replacement bulbs in store but have a much larger selection online, so it's worth the few minutes to make sure the one you're looking for is available in store before going to the store.

I don't have an answer to your question, but this is making me think I should probably buy a replacement bulb for mine and keep it on hand, for when it DOES eventually need to be replaced. With my luck, it will burn out when I'm right in the middle of dong something that I really want to get finished, and I wouldn't want to drop everything to go buy a replacement-- that would just pi$s me off.

Amazon or Joann's. BUT my favorite OTT light they no longer make and quit carrying the bulb. Had to throw it away. I was quite upset!

Well see that is what happened to me. (and before I had 2 Ott lights).. so I go to the store with my lightbulb to be sure I get the right one. Nothing indicated what I was getting had the 'right' natural light. So I bought the only kind they had. It was the yellow'ish light. So it was my only light so I dealt with it. Got my second Ott light from a friend, plug it in and happy I have two Ott lights because I am getting old.. I flip it on and it is the natural color and the other is yellow... sooo ugggg and both of them on with the two different colors is not pleasant. So my one Ott just sits there. SOOOO long story short.. buy a bulb.

Mine only recently burned out and this is the bulb I got (after buying the wrong one at Joanns). This one (type A) is for the older models. Joanns in my store only carried the Type E bulbs for the newer lamps, which do not work in the older lamps. .

Mine are old so maybe I will just order this one... this shouldn't be difficult!
