One. One black jelly bean is too many black jelly beans. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg) I love anise in baked goods, but I can't stand anise jelly beans or the similarly flavored black licorice jelly beans.

Well...let’s just say I found out. TMI below: Fun fact: Too many black jelly beans can cause your poo to turn a weird shade of green. Did you just find this out now? I am a black licorice lover...and I have had too much too many times. I love it though!

I only like red ones and I'm pretty sure the red coloring is bad for me.

Love black jelly beans! I bought a bag of colorful ones for the Easter bunny and a bag of black for me.

But I love it! We used to be able to get black licorice ice-cream when I was a kid (think Tiger Tail, only without the orange). I swear it turned our lips black for days but it was so worth it. That has always been my favourite, even as a kid. I have even tried making my own licorice ice-cream when I had an ice-cream maker, but it wasn't as nice as the one from the ice-cream shop.

One because they are nasty!
And everyone knows the best way to get green...stuff is to eat Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles. LOL

Love black licorice, but I don't feel right when I eat it anymore and since I don't know anyone who likes it and would give me just a piece, I never have it.

OMG, black jelly beans are trash! Nnnnoooo! All licorice flavored candy sucks. Remember these horrible leather things?? ![](https://cdn3.volusion.com/xtyhf.kmcua/v/vspfiles/photos/LICSNP-2.gif) Ironically, I like those! Me too! I adore licorice.

In summary, black jelly beans are evil murder beans. The prosecution rests. I get a bag of black licorice in my Christmas stocking every year. As soon as I open the bag, my son claims the smell alone drives him from the room.

Black licorice and jelly beans are gross. Can't stand them, so one would be too many for me.

Off-topic, but where do you live? The only place we've ever seen Tiger Tail ice cream is in Carcross, YT, CA so I assume it's a Canadian thing? (admittedly, I haven't searched for it, but it's not something we have here in Washington State that I know of). They also had Rolo ice cream which was like a dream come true for DS.

Ironically, I like those! Me too! I adore licorice. The weird thing is I don’t really like plain black licorice, black jelly beans or anything anise flavored but I do like those Snap things and the licorice sandwich things in allsorts. I’m weird. I own it.

I KNEW THAT!!!
And, for the record, when my mom asked what I wanted in my basket, I said a package of black jelly beans, and I suggested she get my dad his own so we didn’t have to fight over them.
