Do you have one? Do you like it? I saw it on Jennifer McGuire's list of favorites.

Thanks to Jennifer I bought a large and small stamp press, (and other things she recommends as well.) They are great especially for stamping on acetate when you need to be steady. Must admit that I sometimes forget and use an acrylic block.

I have the small one and the compact one - starting to use them more than the acrylic blocks... I also have 2 of the MS ones - which are smaller than the Fiskars compact one - they are great for the smaller stamps.
Definitely worth spending the money on....

Yes, I've had the larger one for years and it is what I use when I stamp. I love being able to set up several stamps at once. I am thinking of getting the smaller one as I am hoping to start making cards. (well, I had better with all the purchases I have made this year from Stampin Up!!)

I have one and never use it. I should though because I invariably end up with inked lines from the edges of my acrylic blocks.

I have the small stamp press after watching a video of Jennifer McGuire's. (Thought the large press was just too large for me)
I do really like it and I like how thin it is. I really feel like I'm making a good impression with the stamp to the paper. It's something that I can't really "feel" when using an acrylic block.
That said...
I'm not a fan of the little sponge "feet" on my stamp press and in fact, one of them has already come off, but I was able to get it back on. I've been thinking of purchasing the MS one to try it out. After reading the poster above and her comment about the sturdier feet...I may still do that. Because I really do like the overall concept of it.

Have one and love it. As someone said, great for assembly line projects and larger stamps. With a coupon I think it was around $9 at Michael's.

I have the large one, but for many projects I tend to prefer the blocks. I may like it more if I get a smaller one.

What about that new one that mercy tiara demoed on YouTube? I think it was called the Misty (most incredible stamp tool) and looked more effective than the stamp press.... I'm saving for when she gets more of those produced.

I'm saving for when she gets more of those produced. Having a stamp press and watching that video...it does make me want to get one, personally. I prefer the stamp press to acrylic blocks, just because I think it's a little more "error free" then with the blocks, but it's not perfect. The MISTI however, looks pretty darn perfect to me. That being said....I haven't yet been able to get on board with it's $63 price tag, especially when the stamp press cost me less than $10 with a coupon!

I was given one after I had my stroke and I doubt I would have tried to stamp again without it. I still use it a lot, particularly on days when I am a bit tired or shaky and don't trust myself to be able to just lay down a crisp image. I like it and have taught children to stamp using it as it is easier for them than trying to stamp evenly with a wood stamp or acrylic block. That said, I found that there is a bit of a learning curve when using with large stamps in that you still need to be certain you have enough pressure over the entire stamp in order to get a complete impression. I think it is definitely worth the money.

I use the Stamp Press and love it for large stamps or when I want complete control. More often I use my smaller acrylic blocks for the smaller stamps. I guess it all boils down to the size of the stamp for me.

I have the "compact" one which isn't very compact. LOL I hardly ever use it because I forget I have it and use my acrylic blocks. Thanks for the reminder!

I use my Fiskars one when I have several stamps to line up & am mass producing a card. I like the grid lines! That being said, I also like thicker acrylic blocks with gridlines. Otherwise I tend to stamp "wonky."

I use the medium Martha Stewart one. It's nicer-looking and a better size for the stuff I stamp. The feet fall out sometimes, but they glue back in OK.

Save up and wait to get a MISTI. It's awesome! Karen It is absolutely awesome. I don't know how I managed to stamp without one. But I have unmounted almost all of my wood mounts.
