For day 4, I actually got into my craft room. My energy is back, well mostly. So I created a card, unfortunately I couldn't share it as it's for a Pea, so I shared a copy of a smooshed ink background which I hope to finish into a card today.
I don't know if this link will work, but it's to yesterday's post.
The answer is no. If anyone can explain how to link instagram here, that would be fantastic.

Glad you are feeling more energetic LisaDV and got to play. Spent most of today driving and attending an event. Back at the hotel now and hoping to do a little sketching. Will post on Monday.

I have been super occupied with my MIL's care. But I have been managing to do something everyday inspired by a pin. They have to be small things that can be done in a short amount of time right now. Doing the small project everyday has really given me a little oasis in a very stressful time. Here is my day 1-4 Day 1 - thank you card, Day 2- tiny embroidery, Day 3 - Lemonade Syrup. Day 4- followed a mini folio tutorial I pinned for using my envelope punch board. Here is Day 5 Today I used a recipe for Oatmeal in my instant pot that I pinned. It was delicious.

My day 5 were cards (they're posted on the foiled again challenge and on the April Team challenge). It was Sooo, Sooo nice to be able to spend some real time creating. I could have gotten more accomplished if I didn't spend so much time on laminating, but it was so enjoyable to work on something that I haven't done in ages and that I enjoy. I figure that's the more important.

I did some sketching with water colour pencils on Saturday, NOTHING Sunday, and today I am fooling around using different media on a couple of Saturday's sketches. Will share later.
Am I a failure if I end up with a hundred (or more) little pieces, but did not do this every. single. day? Guess this is like almost every Monday in my dieting phases--and a lot more FUN. Starting today, I will play with art media every day!

The Scrapbook Expo wiped me out! I have been creating every day, but not working on my brush lettering. The worksheets are sitting on my project table, mocking me. And I have a knitting class tonight. Still, I do hope to get back to the lettering tomorrow...

Life totally interfered with my crafty time. So I resorted to food again. You know, we gotta eat, we LOVE to eat. I made homemade salsa verde. Told my dh that we're growing tomatillos in the garden this year. Then made a chilaquiles which was super yummy. It looked so good, I forgot to take a photo of until it was only the dredges left.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a crafty day. But creative is creative, right? Yeah, I'm going with that.

Created a card with foil for LisaDV's "foiled again" challenge. Didn't get a chance to photograph it or the sketching from Saturday. Tomorrow...

I don't know if this link will work, but it's to yesterday's post. The answer is no. If anyone can explain how to link instagram here, that would be fantastic. I have had some Instagram linky challenges too. I don't know how to embed the picture in the post, but for adding a link I found something that works from my laptop. If you open your Instagram to your Instagram in a browser window and click on the picture you want to share you can copy paste the link from the address bar and it seems to work. Just click on the link icon in the toolbar on your reply like normal. Now if someone could tell me how to do the thing where the picture and caption actually appear in the post I'd love to know. The thing I thought would work didn't.

As for my 100 days of black pages, I'm keeping up with it. I have a reminder in my phone and I have the journal where I can see it. I have done more some days, less others. Today I just stuck a photo in and added a caption, whereas yesterday I drew lines (magic black on black lines! with a grey Mildliner pen!) and wrote a whole page of words about an event I went to several weeks ago. tag linky

Somehow I've kept up so far even with coming back from vacation. Only 1 day is iffy. Got them all uploaded to my Instagram yesterday. I really enjoyed the page I did today used some older stash stamps I "had to have" but hadn't used yet. Those SC anniversary stamps from last year and Elle's Stanly Jr I picked up on sale last month or so. Going to try and catch up on everyone else's posts. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhZ6DX4nzf0

Good Wednesday morning; Day 9. Kudo's to the people who have stuck with it every day so far. I was crafty every day except for Sunday. Here are my cards from Monday and Tuesday: April bd's by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Here is a stamped image I played around with this morning. Stamped in pigment ink, then immediately applied PearlEx mica powder and burnished in for that glimmer effect. Originally didn't like it b/c some of the mica adhered to the paper around the stamped image. But then I thought "Hey. It's blue. Looks like sky", so I used some Nuvo drops to create a branch and Liquid Pearls to pipe little leaves. Attachments:

I've been writing out my texts for my album! So much fun. I sometimes forget how much I enjoy writing and how naturally it comes to me. I love that this project is actually giving me time and space to focus on something I've been wanting to do for years. Let's just hope I manage to complete it in the end. Love reading everyone's progress in here, by the way! joblackford Make sure you're using the "full" 'Reply' function, not 'Quick Reply', and go down the toolbar to the right side. The penultimate button ( </>) called 'Insert Embed' is your new friend! Click, watch a new small window appear and select the IG icon on the bottom row. An 'Embed Instagram Post' will pop open. Paste the direct URL to the IG post you wish to embed. Hit 'Embed' and voilà! Like magic.

Well done, grammadee , breaking the project down into ten days is an excellent idea, it suddenly makes the project feel much more doable! sleepingbooty I LOVE your idea for the project! You're so clever You have a great idea too, SnoopyFan . And I adore your photos, ecvnj58 ! Actually, you are all very good! I'm plodding along with my nature journalling. We were away for the weekend and that has put me out of sync somewhat and I seem to be doing my day's entry the next day. I need to catch up as once I am back to work next week, the project will fall apart if I don't do that day's entry on the day. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhbDXs8BldB https://www.instagram.com/p/BhHjpgvHfR_

I am still keeping up with the photo a day. The only problem is that it has been raining almost non stop here and that has made it difficult to get a nice photo when I get home from work. Anyhow, indoors and nighttime photos it is.

I love your flower sketches, Charwee. Hoping you get some nice evening weather soon, catseatcheese. Yesterday I attended a sign painting class (just some simple stencilling with paint). I picked up some wide ribbon, fake flowers and greenery from Michaels today and will add the bow and decoration in the morning. Today I spent the afternoon at the LSS and completed four fairly simple pages. I will share photos In the morning when I have started the thread for the next ten days.
