These people are ALL NUTS and thieves!! Mulvaney gave pay raises to political appointees at consumer protection agencyBY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 04/05/18 07:36 PM EDT Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Director Mick Mulvaney gave major pay raises to political appointees he hired at the agency, according to multiple media reports.Four of the political appointees are making $259,500 and another staffer is earning $239,595. The salaries far exceed those made by even the highest-ranking government staffers, including members of Congress and Cabinet secretaries, according to The Associated Press.Federal government employees can make up to $134,776, not including adjustments made for cities with high costs of living such as D.C. CFPB staffers operate under the Federal Reserve’s pay scale, which caps salaries at $250,000. Mulvaney’s chief of staff, Kirsten Sutton, is one of the staffers earning $259,500, according to The New York Times. That’s a significant pay bump from her predecessor, Leandra English, who earned $212,324 under former CFPB Director Richard Cordray. A CFPB spokesperson said in a statement to the AP that Cordray was responsible for Mulvaney’s staffers higher salaries and that “non-career staff are being paid on par with the career staff who directly report to them.” The spokesperson said it is up to Congress to change how compensation works at the agency. Mulvaney is known for cracking down on spending at the agency. He made a quarterly budget request for the agency of $0 earlier this year, saying he would tap into an emergency fund for the reserve instead. “It is my intent to spend down the reserve until it is of a much smaller size, while still allowing the Bureau to successfully perform its functions, before making an additional financial request of the Board,” Mulvaney wrote. thehill.com/policy/finance/381903-mulvaney-gave-pay-raises-to-political-appointees-at-consumer-protection-agencyHOW is he cracking down on spending..... Oh right, cut spending to help taxpayers, but spending to grease his buddies' palms is ok!!

trump.. “What does the Department of Justice and FBI have to hide? Why aren’t they giving the strongly requested documents (unredacted) to the HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE? Stalling, but for what reason? Not looking good!” What is he hiding I think is the bigger question. The more he tweets blame on everyone else, the more it proves he projects his own issues (read: bloody crazy psychopathic thoughts) on others. Remember at at the beginning when I said he will never take blame for anything and he will never be wrong? You are witnessing it first hand as the noose tightens around him.

Boston Globe (from the Washington Post) For more than a year, Roger Stone has asserted that he spent Christmas of 2016 trying to survive an assassination attempt — most likely radioactive polonium poisoning — by someone trying to frame Russia.
Tests were conducted; doctors were baffled, the longtime political operative and adviser to Donald Trump told journalists. Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was contacted. <or so he says>
But from the moment he made the claims, Stone has deflected questions when asked to back up his claims.
It happened again on Friday, during a wide-ranging conversation with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and Trump. At one point Cooper said he had questions about Stone’s polonium assertions.
‘‘I was extraordinarily ill,’’ Stone told Cooper, before referring to pictures of his face during the period. “You can see in the file footage that you used at the beginning of the segment that I still have lesions on my face from that illness. My doctor believed I was poisoned. They believed initially that there was some radioactive element to that. I’ve never been this sick in my life.’’
But Stone wouldn’t go into detail when Cooper asked for proof, even when the host insisted that ‘‘polonium poisoning, that would be a huge issue in the United States if someone was poisoned with polonium.’’
He directed viewers to ‘‘my InfoWars report on it.’’ The Alex Jones-hosted website airs conspiracy theories. _________________________________________________________________________________________________
Yeah, that's what he said.

trump is ranting....
“President Xi and I will always be friends, no matter what happens with our dispute on trade. China will take down its Trade Barriers because it is the right thing to do. Taxes will become Reciprocal & a deal will be made on Intellectual Property. Great future for both countries!”
How naive is he? I mean really.

“Sen. Rounds says on Meet the Press that Pruitt should keep his job “because he's following through with the policies that the president said he wanted to implement.”
and
“Rounds argues that Pruitt has saved taxpayers more money by rolling back regulations compared to what he has cost them with security/flights”
1- We all know thatbif a Democrat had been pulling this crap there would have been 15 hearings by now.
2. It is very questionable if rolling back protections on air, land, and water is/will save the tax payer money in the long run. My guess it will cost us a lot down the road. Funny thing about air, land & water. Those are three things humans need to survive.

Trump VA nominee: ‘I think I've got what it takes’BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 04/08/18 02:08 PM EDT President Trump’s nominee to take over the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) said in a new interview that he has “what it takes” to lead the agency. “You know, I’m not just an officer in the Navy; I’m an emergency medicine physician in the military. I’ve been confronted on a day-to-day basis with life and death decisions,” Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, who currently serves as the White House physician, told the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. “I think I’ve got what it takes, and you know, I don’t buy into that argument at all.” thehill.com/homenews/administration/382184-va-nominee-i-think-ive-got-what-it-takesgood luck doc!! ** Senate uncertain how to proceed on dual Trump nominations for White House physician: report BY BRETT SAMUELS - 04/08/18 12:42 PM EDT
Some lawmakers are unsure how to proceed with President Trump’s pick for Veterans Affairs secretary because he also has a pending military promotion, The Washington Post reported Sunday. Trump nominated Adm. Ronny Jackson to be promoted from a one-star admiral to a two-star admiral just days before the president ousted Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin. Trump named Jackson as Shulkin’s replacement, pending Senate confirmation. However, the timing of the two nominations has created confusion on how to proceed, The Washington Post reported. To lead the VA, Jackson may be forced to give up his military promotion and roughly $1 million in future pension earnings.** The White House has said Jackson will remain on active duty until he is confirmed to run the VA. However, the White House did not respond to inquiries from The Post about whether it will address Jackson’s conflicting nominations. thehill.com/policy/healthcare/382175-senate-uncertain-how-to-proceed-on-dual-trump-nominations-for-white-house
Giving up a million dollars? Wow......... What's he owe dt?

About f'ing time!! It only took him shooting a 1.5TRILLION dollar hole (to the benefit of the least needy) in the budget, insulting all manner of people, still not releasing his tax returns while staying almost exclusively at his own properties for travel, his profligate cabinet, his ignorant cabinet, his sons chasing conflicted deals, commending Nazis, and showing himself to be the most toddler-like president to ever grace the big house, the house with no name in "tippy top" condition.

Reuters....
“Older, white, educated voters helped Donald Trump win the White House in 2016. Now, they are trending toward Democrats in such numbers that their ballots could tip the scales in tight congressional races from New Jersey to California, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll and a data analysis of competitive districts shows.
“The real core for the Republicans is white, older white, and if they’re losing ground there, they’re going to have a tsunami,” said Larry Sabato, a University of Virginia political scientist who closely tracks political races. “If that continues to November, they’re toast.”
Let’s hope so.

“Trump, who has disparaged Latin American countries over immigration, narcotics and trade, heads to the region this week for a summit that diplomats say is likely to be awkward and tense. “We all know how to smile and nod along, so we’re not too worried,” a Peruvian diplomat said. “

Wash Post - The Perils Of trump bubble
Greg Sargent... “It gets worse. Republicans are now reluctant to warn voters of the dangers *they* perceive from Trump's trade war, because they worry about criticizing him in the eyes of GOP base voters.” Which prompted this response from Susan of Texas... “This is what happens when a political party plays to its highly authoritarian base. They will undermine the party out of loyalty to the leader. It’s just one of the drawbacks of running on personality, not ideas and policy.” I would make one correction to what Susan of Texas is saying, it’s not that the GOP doesn’t have ideas and policy, it’s just that they can’t sell them to the masses because they are so destructive.

“Senior aides hope a trip to South America and summit with the Japanese prime minister will keep Trump's mind off the book.” Oh goody sic trump on South America and Japan to distract him from Comey’s book. What possibly could go wrong? ETA..Now this is a funny response from Walter Shaub to the above... “What a statement. It’s like dangling your shiny keys to distract a baby.” 😀

I agree with this as I really believe the West doesn’t understand the Middle East and it never has. And every modern American President thinks they have the key and they don’t.

trump comes on to speak and rambles all over the place. He hurts my brain trying to follow him. It's like putting a puzzle together with a lot of missing pieces. and then some random other puzzles' pieces thrown in just to further the confusion.

Translation = As long as China doesn’t affect my family’s business interests (Ivanka’s clothing line) I’m ok if China hits the farmers even though it’s not nice.
And what does he mean “great patrons???”
I looked the word up. Patron - a person who gives financial or other support to a person, organization, cause or activity.

A customer, especially a regular one, of a store, restaurant, or theater.
