Glad you’re doing so much better already and that you’re back home. Continued prayers for healing and that the antibiotics do their job!

Glad you are doing better! On another note, if the hospital suspects MRSA or some other infectious disease, is it normal for them to have you share a room with another patient, especially one who is elderly?

I wondered the same thing. I thought with as contagious as it is; they would have tried to keep patients that they thought had it by themselves.

You poor lamb - apologizing to others for things beyond your control. This sounds like a series of unfortunate events, and I hope all will soon be resolved. Still no idea what caused the infection?

No. I am going for a follow up doctor appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, we can figure it out.

I missed your first post, but I am glad you are on the mend. I can't imagine how scary it was. Sending you good wishes for your continued recovery.

I wondered the same thing. I thought with as contagious as it is; they would have tried to keep patients that they thought had it by themselves. When my husband was in for a pulmonary embolism and they found out he has had MRSA they whisked him out of the room he was sharing with someone so fast my head spun. Got his own special room in the unit a step below intensive care (I think they called it critical care?) and we all had to follow special protocol coming and going from the room.
