I have a really hard time finding sports bras that fit. If I’m honest, I haven’t found one that fits really well.
I’m an A cup, but I have a large rib cage. I usually wear a 36A in bras (on the last clasp, so maybe I need a 38?), and this would normally size me into the SMALL sports bras.
But the bras that fit me best are size LARGE. The lightly padded kind that doesn’t have molded cups so it’s pretty stretchy. My rib cage feels like it’s suffocating in a small or medium sports bra. But any bigger and the cups feel like it’s way too much. And I definitely can NOT get a large in the molded cup bras because I don’t fill those out.
Am I the only one who has problems with sports bras?

I haven’t had any problems since I started wearing Moving Comfort sports bras.

Maybe try a sports bra that has actual cup-sizing rather than S-XL sizing. www.titlenine.com has a great selection.

My DD had to get a soft regular bra instead of sports bras. She has a naturally large frame (needs a 38 or 40 because of her rib cage) but is still only 12 and just needs an A. We found some bras by Jockey (IIRC) at Kohl's that are still really soft but sized correctly and are sufficiently supportive.

Can you find a brand that is bra sized rather than s-xl? I have ordered from www.barenecessities.com. before and they had a wide variety of sports bras that were band sized. I have been a B cup to a DD cup and never had a sports bra fit me well. I eventually found a band sized Nike bra that I loved from there. It doesn't fit me anymore so I am in the same boat as you again and on the hunt. Or, as above, bandaid your nipples. Whatever works

I would suggest cup-sized sports bras also - my DD has the opposite problem - small band size/large cup size - and cup-sized has been the solution for her - she can't do the ones that are S/M/L.

They are a little pricey but they last. I am about your size and wear a medium!

Have you considered just wearing a normal soft bra? If your cup size is A, a normal bra may work just fine. Some of those soft wireless, type? Being an A cup, you won’t need as much support as a sports bra usually offers (not trying to be mean, no one can control the girls size...)
Or they do make sports bras that aren’t sized SML, but have numbers for the bands. I’ve gotten them at the big sports stores. I’ve also resorted to just wearing my normal bras for work outs, but ones I reserve only for workouts and never daily wear again because they smell, lol.

I love Natori! You can often find them at Rack as well for around 20-25 bucks!

I don't wear a sports bra that has cups. I wear the one piece spandex/stretchy style from Nike or Under Armour. I wear a B cup, and buy the L size - there are no cups, but the L size band works for my rib cage size, and the spandex expands to fit my breasts. This is my current favourite: Sports Bra

My favorite are a few I got a MACY's 2-3 years ago. I think they are Ideology brand. I also have a couple Victoria's Secret ones that fit well...but it's hard to find them at VS that aren't molded.

Meh. Just bandaid your nipples so no one sees them, and you're fine. Believe it or not, people with small chests still need sports bras. I’m sure this was a joke in good fun, but it was pretty offensive.EDIT: Sorry! I thought you were making fun. mom gave me the background info!

I actually wear a wireless bra for my everyday one, but I don’t think a normal bra would be supportive enough for running or heavy cardio. I could weight lift in it, but one issue is that the material is more textured and also will soak up too much sweat!

She was referring to a news article earlier this week where a teen girl was asked to cover her nipples with two bandaids at school so the boys wouldn't get turned on.

I prefer the longer sports tops with no stomach showing. And I have the opposite problem, I'm a large cup with a small band size. I found hook closure sports bras from Athleta (Gap) and Lucy (now North Face), although they are limited and hard to find. I can buy the bra to fit my cup size and then put it on the first hook to fit my band. Or take it in at the band if I need to.

A 38A sports bra fits me best, but there aren't many out there. I also hate step-in sports bras and only wear ones with hook closures. I tried a front-zip style but did not like it. I have this Pure Lime one from Amazon: Pure Lime sports braThe cup area is shaped but not padded and stretches/flattens out somewhat when you put it on. I would like it to give a little more compression and support, but it has been adequate. I also have this one in 38B; it fits about the same as the 38A Pure Lime and it like it better, seems to support a little better: Triumph sports bra

Do any of the recommendations above fit this description:
No metal anywhere (clasps, underwires = NO, I’ll tolerate something on the adjustable straps, but. I prefer not as they can chafe under backpacks) Light padding, or at least enough to handle large nipples (medium breasts, b-ish cup, very large nips) Wide-set straps (no racer back or criss-cross; straps that don’t show in the neck holes of shirts) Color for pale skin (beige, ecru. — not all the bright colors and patterns or dark solids or white)

I hate them. I’m an A also and they make me look absolutely flat chested, like a 12 year old boy. But the ones with cups I can’t fill out! So it’s wear a regular bra and get it all sweaty and gross, or look like a boy. Not a man, lol, a boy.
So my answer is not exercises😂
