I have the Kindle app on my Ipad and bought my first book for it recently.
I'm reading it and there is a link for more info. It's a Rick Steves travel book and it says for more info tap here. I tap it and read it. Then I try to go back to where I was.
But how do I get back to where I was??
I tapped all of the icons I could find, did not remember the specific page I was at.
It did not open another page and could not find anything to bring me back to where I was.
Thanks!

I have an actual kindle and it always knows where I stopped reading.
I don't know what a person does on another device.

I have the kindle on a Samsung tab. It always goes back to my page, too, when I leave.

Try syncing it. Touch the 3 lines on the upper left and a list of options will appear and it will sync to the furthest page.
ETA: If you’re having trouble bringing the book back up, it will be on the bottom middle of your library where your downloaded book is. Hope that makes sense.

When I go out to links on my iPad there will be a small label in the top left that says the name of the app I came from. When you go out to the link do you see "kindle" in small print on the top left?
