My girlfriend is deep into hunting & collecting - she spent a day in Michigan (we are in Ontario) hitting every Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx she could find to search for pieces she wanted. It is very few and far between here.
I collected a few pieces when we were in Brockport, NY a couple weeks ago, and then took a few pieces off her hands and her sisters hands when they de-stashed.
I don't plan to get enormous amounts, but the pieces I do have I quite love!
I have a giant glass jar that says Treat, some pans that say Loaf & Bake, a little teapot & creamer that the bottom half is blue with black dots and say Pour (I'm in search of the sugar bowl now), and then a planter set that says Flourish Sprout and Grow. I picked up a few mugs from my friend that I love and I have two little bowls that are blue on the inside - Relax and Namaste.
The treat jar is currently full of cookies, the mugs I use daily, and the planter set will be planted soon. But the rest is mostly decorative for me.
Anybody else?

I like her stuff, but I like it a little less now that it's so popular. I have the dog bowls (Slurp and Eat Me) and a cute treat jar that says "Good Dog," but that's about it. You can easily find the stuff at our TJM.

I’ve looked for certain pieces for my sister-in-law who does collect it, but I don’t have any of it myself.

Oh wow. I didn’t realize this was a craze. They had a ton of it at Homegoods yesterday.

I have a cat dish that says Gulp on it. Found it at Winner's. I only bought it because it was blue on the inside and white on the outside. I can't even see the word where it is tucked in the corner under the counter. I've never seen anything else here at Winner's, HomeSense or Marshall's. I don't really get the craze. The font seems to be about the same size no matter the product. If I saw something else and I liked it I'd buy it. mustlovecats go to Instagram and search for Rae Dunn and you'll see the huge collections people have. I've seen them in Explore.

I have one mug that says Create. I like the stuff, but I just don't need another collection.

I just bought ds and his gf a doggie treat jar that says live, laugh, bark. Super cute. My friend's dd collects so I was hunting for her, but my friend told me she has enough. I've seen several pictures of large collections and I think the cuteness gets lost when it's all displayed chunked together.

Now that is a person who wrote some simple font on ceramics and made a mint. Wow.

A couple of years ago I picked up a rectangular plate at Home Goods that said "merry" on it and this year I picked up another Christmas one and can't for the life of me remember what it says (bright? joy? peace? jingle?). They are packed away in the holiday bins and will come out next year.
I was at a craft market yesterday and surprised to see a Rae Dunn both, especially with so much available through discount stores. It was a little out of place with everything else at the market being handcrafted goods but she did have a number of things I haven't seen anywhere else so I'm assuming it was a new summer line (shells, whales, octopus IIRC).
I think the impact of her style is bigger if you just have one or two carefully selected pieces rather than a whole kitchen of labeled dishes.
I really love her sketches and paper products.

I collect, but only the large letter stuff. I’ve stopped hunting though because I’m tired of all the resellers clearing shelves and putting them on eBay and what not for 3x the price.

Her stuff cracks me up. You could just take a sharpie to IKEA and have the same stuff for a fraction of the cost. Now, I do think some of it, the stuff with additional colors is cute. But the word stuff just boggles my mind. It's just so easy to copy.

I think it's cute, but I am at the point where I am trying to downsize my 'collections' not start more. And as I look at all the (crystal, collector dolls, vintage stuff, and let's face it, scrapbook supplies) stuff I've bought over the years, I sure wish I had all that money back in my pocket instead!

I don't like it personally. Looks like Addams family font to me. That said, my friends love it, so I look for pieces for them occasionally.

While I generally admire people's entrepreneurial achievements, I find her stuff really stupid. Cute sayings with designs, yes. Single words on blank white stuff, a big NO.

I don't "collect" but I have a few pieces. I love the coffee cups, they hold the perfect amount and just feel right in my hand. I want a canister set because it's the perfect size for my needs but if I can't get them for TJ Maxx prices, then I don't need them. I like white/gray/black so I'm drawn to the simple style.
I guess it's like people who like Pioneer Woman and Fiestaware. I don't care for busy prints or bright colors. To each his own.

If I found a piece with a certain word that had meaning to me, I would buy it. I don't think there is anything special about it and I definitely don't understand "collecting" everyday dishware.

A friendly acquaintance of mine collects. I saw a picture she posted on Facebook and commented on one mug (silent night) so when I was dropping off empty gallon jugs for a project she was doing she gave it to me. We display (not my choice and not a battle I choose to fight) mugs on top of our kitchen cabinets so, except for Christmas time, it’s up there.

Oh heck, I admire the crap out of her success, especially via such a simple idea! As for 'stupid', I don't agree. It's not my style, even cute sayings with designs are not. But apparently, her goodies are the style of a LOT of people. I wonder how much she has made on this simple idea? I wish I could think of the 'next big thing'! SaveSave

Women here in Chicago go crazy!!! You can hardly find stuff in store because there are women camped out at store opening to clear shelves. There are plenty of crazy horror stories of knocking over women with kids, stealing out of carts and physical altercations. The peas would flip over this Facebook group. I like her stuff but it is not worth it. It is now a professional for some and the mark up here is ridiculous. $50 for holiday mugs. Some paid $300 for the rare Halloween bowls.

It is cute, but the font is a little too simplistic for my taste. But this is coming from someone who is seriously in love with her 6 different colors of fiesta ware .

I have her stuff and love it. I’m not a crazy fanatic but I go look for new stuff whenever I’m in the store.
Having said that, we all have different taste. Not sure this one qualifies for stupid, unless that’s how we describe styles that aren’t our own.
I also have nearly white walls, white kitchen cabinets and an overall light neutral colour palette with a variety of textures.
So while some may look at the white mugs and not get it, some clearly love it. I look at fiesta dishes and admire them for what they are but they’re not my taste and most definitely not stupid.
As the saying goes, you do you, and I’ll do me. 😊

I'm not going to have hundreds of pieces - but I do have a few that I really like that I am searching for the companion pieces for so I have the set. For the first time ever, we are decorating room by room and I'm able to afford decorative accessories to set things up to look nice. We've only ever painted or wallpapered before, and then had "collection of kids crap" for decor LOL. Some of her stuff suits my style, so some I've picked up!

Had no idea it was a "collectible" when I bought a water and food bowl for my new grand dog last year at TJ Maxx. I just bought it because I thought it was cute and looked like a dog might have scratched in the words. Slurp! Woof!
