I am new to this myself and saw Dyan Reaveley at Cincinnati in Aug...like her work...and have yet to try any of it...I am intimidated by it all and I also have a room full of supplies yet to be opened up and used.
Also saw using watercolors that I like on YouTube...a lot of good ideas from ladies there...
I don't know these ladies and their styles. What I want to learn is doing a backgrounds using different paints, stencils and such and be able to stamp and also write a bit on the page.
On these on line classes could I download the class on my PC to view later. I would not be able to do this from home because of my bad provider and would have to go to the library or my daughters house to see them do their magic.
I did get the page to load that you linked and it sounds interesting...

Christy Tomlinson has great classes for that. I did the She Has 3 Hearts and learned a TON about how she does her backgrounds, different mediums, etc. There is more to the class - working on yourself and stuff, but if you just did the art part of it you would learn a ton on how she works. She also has one called Behind the Art where she goes through all the products she uses and how to use them without the other content christytomlinson.typepad.com/christytomlinson/behind-the-art-online-workshop.html
she has a sale a few times a year. I got it 50% off on Black Friday sale last year.
They are videos off her site though. I couldn't download mine, but you have a year (sometimes 2 depending on the class) to get things done.

I am still on the fence about it. I'm not very good at completing online classes.

Ok, just signed up. Saw the first project by Donna Downey and unfortunately, it's not my style. Hoping I'll like some of the other projects a little more...
