I agree about Maddie Poppe, she's our favorite too. She's already released an album. Songs from the Basement - AmazonI think they are because I read they are having a Disney night, since the show is now on ABC. |

Just watching today. Maddie Poppe has such an interesting voice and style. Plus she sings songs from my era and adds her own twist. Off to check out her album on Amazon.

Seems they were looking for diversity primarily over talent. I thought the "I'm Not Going" rendition was cliche and overdone. Can't think of the name of the contestant. And I thought the Venezuelan girl was a bore too. That song was corny and they keep pushing her to use her 'ethnicity'. WTF let her be her! Over that pc crap. I am SO SO glad they put through the rocker guy though, Dennis with the braids. I thought he sang Maxwell's version of Woman's Work was amaaaazing. |

The only one of their picks that I like is Dennis- Jurnee is ok. I can't stand all of that over the top screaming that Ada does. I think Marcio got robbed. His last 2 song choices were horrible though. I just wonder if it will have another season?

Marcio..wahh..I loved him even though he was as bad as the redhead...Mara? Looking like they were going to lose it at any second. Gotta keep it together, man! I was bummed he bombed out like he did, I think nerves got to him and poor Mara, she pulled off a great performance at the end but she was too nervous too often. I think with time she'll settle down. |

I loved the old shows. I had high hopes for this season but sadly I haven't really gotten into it like I had hoped. I several shows on my dvr. Not sure I am going to watch them.

I'm watching both Idol and Voice and so far I like the contestants on Idol better. No one on the voice has grabbed my attention just yet.
But..Idol judges annoy me. I want a show with Voice judges and idol contestants!

I think this year is kinda boring. My favorites are:
Jurnee
Dennis Lorenzo
Michael J. Woodard
I kinda like Ada.
The rest I could care less about. I love rock music but the rocker sings the boringest songs & focuses more on playing the guitar.
They all need help with song selection.

LOl I read a review/recap that Venezuelan girl is this season's "Sanjaya" lol.
NO one likes her. Makes me mad they kept her.

I see I'm not the only one, but I can't believe they kept Michelle! I was surprised when they put her through at auditions; I thought we were just seeing her segment because she had the judges dancing. I would've kept Marcio, Mara, or even the dreamboat guy over her.

Who is your favorite of the final 3? Mine is Maddie Poppe. I feel like Gabby will probably win because she has the teen/pop/popular vote. I was a fan of Michael just because he's so darn sweet. Is the finale next Sunday?

I really liked the entire top 5. I liked Michael but didn't think he'd make it. Really liked Cade and was surprised he didn't make it. Love the top 3. I think Gabbie will take it all. She just has it all - voice, look, stage presence. I think Caleb and Maddie will do well no matter what happens.

Cade was my favorite as well. I always prefer the rocker, the one who is a little bit different.
