My PC is really old. It has an i3 processor. I want to buy a PC with at least 1TB of data. I am debating buying a PC vs a MAC. I use a MAC for work all the time and really like. I am not sure I want to spend the extra $ for the MAC.
Suggestions? Thoughts?

I switched from PC to iMac in 2017. I bought a refurbished model (still big bucks) but am so so happy with it.

I'm no help. I just bought a HP I3 laptop with 1TB of storage and 17 inch screen, but only 6 RAM about 8 months ago. I have problems seeing tiny screens. I seem to go through a laptop about every 3 years and since this one was less than $300, I thought it was a screaming deal and would work fine for the next couple of years. If it dies or I needed to upgrade sooner, it would not be that big of a loss to replace.

Once I bought a mac, there was no looking back. Especially if you're doing photo/video stuff with it. Less prone to malicious things than a PC too and you can run them into the ground rather than having the blue screen of death tell you it's time for a new computer.

I prefer MAC, it is a bit more expensive, but it is pleasure to work with him. Also the graphic is much better than on PC.... : )
