The Ravens are picking at 16 but that's always subject to change. I'm really more interested in next year since I think that will be a year we pick a QB to start grooming.

This makes me think of one of our favorite movies Draft Day. We liked it so much the first time we watched it we started it over as soon as it finished.  Have seen it at least a dozen times since. I think it really catches the excitement and upheaval of the day. Or, what I imagine it to be anyway. But I get more excited about NBA Draft than the NFL. For the NFL, we were just anxious for the schedule so our wait is already over. DH is a Steelers' fan and they will be near us (okay, 9 hrs away) this season so he gets to see them 2 years in a row (saw them VS Texans last Christmas), so he is very excited. We knew who they were playing, just not when. Last year we missed my family on Christmas Day. And this year? December 23rd so we will miss his family's regular Christmas. Totally worth it. I hope your teams come away with needed picks!!! |

As a die hard Oklahoma Sooner fan I was happy Baker Mayfield had the honor of being the #1 draft choice.
It’s pretty impressive that a two time college walk on went on to win the Heisman trophy and became the No. 1 draft pick in the NFL.
No doubt, he’s cocky, but he has a good heart. Cleveland fans will learn to love him!

As a die hard Oklahoma Sooner fan I was happy Baker Mayfield had the honor of being the #1 draft choice. It’s pretty impressive that a two time college walk on went on to win the Heisman trophy and became the No. 1 draft pick in the NFL. No doubt, he’s cocky, but he has a good heart. Cleveland fans will learn to love him! I pray he doesn't let this go to his head. The Browns have been through enough! |

The GM (Costner) works for the Browns and they follow him throughout the day. |
