I usually say, “That’s.Just.AWESOME.” dripping with sarcasm. Or if we’re driving somewhere and we come across someone doing something totally stupid and jackholean, I will say something to the effect of, “Well, OBVIOUSLY the regular rules don’t apply to them.”

I find that patronizing someone is a great way to confuse them. So... depending on the statement, a good "it is what it is" or a "bless your heart" or my favorite, "don't you worry your pretty little face" are all great at confusing while not giving a compliment.
