Is Anyone up and around still? I fell asleep after dinner and I am awake now. I hope to fall asleep by one am maybe.
Does anyone have plans for today Sunday? I am going to visit a friend who lives near Costco as I have some clothes to return. She is house bound due to cellulitis and is lonely as heck. She is a new friend and we are just getting to know one another.
I also have a thing with Costco. Apparently I have two accounts with them. I had an old one I shared with DS and I have one with my dad. We cancelled the one with DS but he reactivated it somehow and I am back on the account. Meanwhile I have another account. I have to fix that.

Morning Delta Dawn I’m just getting ready to go out for the day with my friend. We’re going to Wonderwool Wales which is a yarn festival. We’ve been the past couple of years and have a fun day. We’re praying it stays dry so our purchases won’t get wet I hope you have a nice time with your friend

Good Morning. Just having breakfast here, then we will go to church. After that, I am expecting a call from my older son. No afternoon plans, except maybe SnB in the evening.

A yarn festival sounds like fun! I think that sounds smashing actually. I have to get my little old lady to show me how to crochet. When I go over there too much time is spent eating and drinking tea. I picture a wall of colour everywhere. I get like that when I am in an expensive fabric store. We have one that sells silks, satins, and expensive wools and I love going in there, buying and racing home to start cutting out my pattern. I love sewing from that store best of all. That is fun for me. I made all these fancy skirts and blouses. I even designed a pair of pants (trousers) and lined them. that was really cool. I probably forget how to do it now. I did sew really well and I remember I had this blue sweater set and found the perfect cornflower blue wool to make a skirt. I loved that outfit so much! I was teased at work constantly because every monday there would be a new skirt or dress at the office that they hadn't seen before. It was fun!

Hello Delta Dawn and everyone else up. It’s 8 am here and I’ll be spending my Sunday like most times, working. Enjoy your visit with your friend and JoP your trip sounds right up my alley. P.S. Delta Dawn, please confirm how you pronounce your Pea name! Is it ell-ar-na? Ell-en-ah? Or something different? I’ve been meaning to ask for ages and the Louis thread has reminded me.

I didn’t realize so many Peas were in different time zones. It’s 3:30 am here & I need to go to bed! But I’m watchi dateline & it’s hard to let go.
Tomorrow I’ll finish cleaning the house the my younger grandson will be coming for a weeks stay while mom & Dad enjoy a week at the beach. I’ll also have the older one all week so full duty Grammy camp.

9.40 and I've only just got up!! We were out with friends last night and I had a couple of glasses of Prosecco so it was very nice to be able to stay in bed later this morning. I'm cooking a roast at lunchtime and our eldest DD and her 18 month old will come and join us as her Dh is away. Sunday can be a long day on your own can't it. Later we're babysitting for a friend and his wife so they can go out for his birthday.

1020am here...i am sick and still in bed. Hoping I am better for my surgery tomorrow. My platelet count is still very low @pascoepea that sounds like fun! I've seen lots of posts on Instagram from people going to wonderwool. Have a great time. When I do get up, I'm going to try doing some knitting or crochet. Trying hard to get back into my hobbies. Have a lovely day everyone.

On my break at work. We’re having a busy surgical weekend in my hospital and there is lots of work to do, but our nursing supervisor just brought us chocolate so at least I’ll have a sugar high to get me through the rest of the night .

It’s 6 am here and I’m sipping my first cup of coffee and working on the grocery list. Dh and I will be at the store when they open (officially at 7:00 but they tend to open the doors 20 or so minutes early). I spend a couple of hours on Sundays prepping food for the week. I’ll cook eggs in the IP, make soup, perhaps grill some chicken breasts, clean fruit, etc. I find this is key to making my workday mornings run smoothly and keep me on plan with my eating. We we had an absolutely gorgeous (mid 70s and sunny) spring day yesterday but it’s supposed to be rainy and on 60 today. I have a big project I’ve been working on for several weeks and thought I was done but discovered I wasn’t. It won’t take me long to finish it up today. JoP I’m quite jealous of your yarn outing!!

It is 3:30am in California. I woke up and couldn’t fall back to sleep. We had some BBQ and beer with friends and alcohol has started to mess with my sleep cycle now that I’m over 40, BOO. My DS22 just got home from work so I got to chat with him for a few. My DD19 came home for a visit from college sometime after I went to bed so that’s a lovely surprise. ❤️
We have a birthday party for my 3yo nephew today. After that I’d like a relaxing evening at home with all my kids in the house at one time.
