Thing is, he's standing ON the Great Seal of the United States. sort of fitting, no? (considering he's trampling all these long-established Presidential norms, and all... ) So true!! Jim Carrey is a talented artist!

I read somewhere, can't find it at the moment, that Amnesty International are going to sue the US government. Their actions are against the international laws of human rights. I guess Trump & co believe that the laws don't apply to them.

David Hogg...
“Very productive day, had over 15 meetings with congressman. Together we will fix this and if you don’t we (the young people) will. Change does not come easy but what has is my renewed hope for the future and our children.
The young people will win.”
What is sad is this kid has to do this because the “adults” can’t or won’t.

Karl the Fog....
“Salesforce Tower: I’m gonna make my big debut tonight and everyone’s gonna see what I can do
Me: LOL no”
The top of the new Salesforce Tower in SF can do light shows. The building officially opened today and part of the celebration was a light show tonight.
I guess Karl the Fog has other plans. 😃

Reuters....
“Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he will propose new tax cuts sometime prior to November, when Republicans look to retain their control of the U.S. Congress in midterm elections.
Trump said he would meet with Republican Representative Kevin Brady, chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, about the proposal. He did not give any details.”
More tax cuts huh. How to bankrupt a country.

Yep, depending upon where you live, it's almost $4 in some places. DH drives a diesel truck and the pump stopped when it hit $100. The tank wasn’t even full. Ridiculous! I just saw a news crawler saying it has just topped $5 in Manhattan.

I can't bring myself to read/address the immigrant children being separated from their parents, and how much of a bigoted weasel Jeff Sessions is... so I'll post this here instead, because I think it's another UGLY coin. As well as what the item description says: WH Gift Shop website, Trump challenge coin. #1) I think it's a horrible depiction of Trump. #2) Item description: " Challenge your friends to prove their loyalty to our President by asking for a "coin check." President Donald J. Trump Presidential seal challenge coin makes a great gift." Wow.. what the ever-loving _________ !!! He is bat shit crazy with the loyalty crap. Is there a suggested salute and/or secret handshake to go with it? Yikes. Does he approve these things? I'm pretty sure that's from some generic souvenir shop, with nothing to do with the WH.

The Hill...
“Nationwide support for gun control measures is slipping in a new poll after months of renewed calls for legislative action in response to a mass shooting in Parkland, Fla.
Support for moderate to strong restrictions on firearms stood at 69 percent in May, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, down 6 points from March.
The recent decline in support for gun control mirrors past public behavior after mass-casualty shootings, Reuters noted. It compared the latest numbers to those after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012. Support for gun control rose by 11 points to 70 percent shortly after the shooting but fell below its original level just three months later.
Support for stricter measures has gradually increased over the years, with total support rising nearly 10 percent, from the high 50s to high 60s since 2012, Reuters found.
The latest survey took place before the last week's shooting in Santa Fe, Texas, where an armed teenager allegedly killed nine students and a teacher. The mass shooting has again prompted calls for legislative action to reduce violent gun crimes.
The Reuters poll surveyed 3,458 adults between May 5 and May 17. “
Translation: Mass shootings in our schools are acceptable “collateral damage” when it comes to any type of meaningful gun control.

Well yeah unless we ban trench coats, arm teachers, make girls, who have been harrassed by the shooter, go out with the guy and close doors because that's the ticket. This is CRAZY that the gun lobby is so powerful that politicians and a disturbing number of our fellow citizens write off mass shootings as the price we must pay to protect the 2nd Amendment, which I'm sure the founders would roll over in their grave to see it distorted in this way.

tiny hands went on another rant this morning. But out of the mumble jumble this one sort of stood out..
“SPYGATE could be one of the biggest political scandals in history!”
No, the biggest scandal is trump and the fact he was elected.

This from NRATV....,
"We don’t call them mass knifings when they happen in the UK, a country more than happy to have the kinds of law the @nytimes editorial page apparently approves of. Suddenly it’s a murder spree...But when a gun is involved it’s called a mass shooting." —@dloesch #TuesdayThoughts“
Prompted this response from Shannon Watts..,
“300 people die by knifing in the UK annually. Juxtapose that with 13,000 gun homicides and 20,000 gun suicides annually in the US.
When someone uses a knife to kill 59 people and injure 500 from the 32nd floor of a hotel a quarter of a mile away, we’ll call them mass knifings.”
And the win goes to Shannon.

linkBBC Exclusive.. BBC Exclusive: Trump lawyer Michael Cohen “paid by Ukraine” to arrange White House talks in June 2017 “Cohen received at least $400,000 to fix talks between Ukraine’s Poroshenko and President Trump – intelligence sources” I wonder how much of the $400K trump received? From the article.... “There is no suggestion that Mr Trump knew about the payment.” Ha!

“Top insurance official predicts massive ObamaCare premium increases due to GOP repeal of mandate hill.cm/oKdsAV8”
I understand old Mitch is thinking of keeping the Senate in session to come up with a bill flat out repealing the ACA. If that happens and the House goes along and the ACA is repealed there will be chaos in the health care insurance world.
So if this comes to pass, buckle up.

Wow, personally I don’t find kneeling disrespectful, but where do they draw the line? Do the players have to sing the National anthem? Do tears have to come to their eyes as well? Personally, I think people that were kneeling before will just find some other way to silently show their feelings which they are entitled to do. I also know that the NFL is the players employer so they are well within their rights to require the players to stand, but it seems silly to me. You can’t force someone to feel a certain way, and I don’t believe for a second that kneeling during the anthem makes someone unpatriotic. Although right now it is pretty darn hard to feel patriotic for this country when we are run by a petty, bigoted, misogynistic , ignoramus.

ABC News...
“Pres. Trump reiterates "animals" comment at MS-13 roundtable, saying he was "met with rebuke" by Democrats over remark last week.
"They're not people, these are animals, and we have to be very, very tough." abcn.ws/2KKqhhF”
The last stats on gang show there are roughly 10,000 MS-13 gang members in the US out of a total of between 750,000+ gang members. There are over 24,000 gangs in this country.
Not all MS-13 gang members come to this country illegally. They are home grown.
Why are the other 700,000 + gang members getting a pass?
Forget the term “animal” and start asking why are other gangs getting a pass. Innocent people die because of the actions of these gangs. This country has a gang problem. How is eliminating this one group going to solve the gang problem?

It also says that players and any other personnel do not have to be on the field during the National Anthem. They may stay in the locker room if they do not want to stand.

How is that better? “If you won’t stand for the National Anthem then stay off the field or else”. Edited to add - What happened to freedom of expression?

It does give them an option though and although I agree with the freedom of expression, the players are employed by the nfl. If the nfl started fining people in the stands who turn their back on the flag or kept their hats on, then I think that would be a whole other kettle of fish and 100% overstepping. I know I can’t post certain things or wear certain things or do certain things at work that I can do on my off time that work cannot restrict or punish me for, I don’t see this as really any different although I think it is stupid and isn’t going to really change anything.

When he goes down, I want him and his administration to go down HARD.
