I don't understand why NO ONE will call them flat out LIES, either. Even Rick Santorum, in the video linked (yesterday, maybe?) was dancing around, calling it some sort of euphemism-- something like 'less than truthful' or 'less than credible' and even when the TV show host said 'lies, right?' he still wouldn't agree and call them LIES. What is it about the word LYING itself that's so very horrible, if it's the truth? I wish I could like this 1000 times.

Why is he being allowed to speak publically for the President before having at least the base of knowledge that anyone with access to a TV or Internet has? I call bullshit. Because no one wants the job, although now they did get Emmet Flood on the team (who represented Bill Clinton in the impeachment hearings). I wonder how long he'll last. Will he agree to lie for DJT? I absolutely love that no one else wants the job. But anyone in PR worth a lick will tell you to keep your dang mouth shut rather than make it worse. And Rudy has been in the game long enough to know this. I do not believe for a minute that he doesn't "know the facts," what I don't understand is what their end game is. Are they deviously clever and we just haven't figured out how yet? Or is he as incompetent as a lawyer as Trump is as a decent human?

They think they can get away with everything, and they've gotten away with a lot. Maybe there's a deviously clever scheme but I don't know what it would be? I think Rudy DOES know the facts, he just wasn't supposed to say them out loud! Oops.

Ryan has resigned..it won't be him. He hasn't resigned, he has only said he won't be running for re-election in November. If Trump and Pence were both gone tomorrow, Ryan would still become president, unless he refused the job. Yes, Ryan is not running in November for his Congressional seat. Until January he could be named president and would server until 2020 (oops, I think) He sure would b pissed If something happened to dt and after Pence......... in February......... and he was no longer in line..

Oh my!! I know Mrs Pence's doctor had an issue with released info............. Vice president's physician resignsBY JORDAN FABIAN - 05/04/18 01:28 PM EDT Vice President Pence's doctor resigned Friday amid the controversy over President Trump's failed nomination of Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson to serve as secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Jennifer Peña was a physician in the White House Medical Unit, which Jackson led prior to his nomination. Multiple news reports said she was one of the people who accused Jackson of workplace misconduct, allegations that eventually sunk his nomination. “The Vice President’s office was informed today by the White House Medical Unit of the resignation. Physicians assigned to the Vice President report to the White House Medical Unit and thus any resignation would go entirely through the Medical Unit, not the Vice President’s office," Pence press secretary Alyssa Farah said in a statement. Peña had expressed concerns about Jackson last fall, according to CNN, saying in a series of memos that Jackson may have violated federal privacy protections of second lady Karen Pence by sharing details about a medical incident. More at link: thehill.com/policy/healthcare/386237-vice-presidents-physician-resignsPence sees a FEMALE doctor? How does that go? who is in the room while he is undressed with a FEMALE doctor? Did she have a male nurse? You talk against dt and his cohorts and you ARE GONE!!

As long as there is an "R" behind their name all's good. A person with NO ETHICS or MORALS is so much better those damn liberals/commies.

I'm beginning to think we deserve Donald Trump. Our congress has proven to be spineless and without a moral compass. More than 50% of us voted for a man who is clearly racist and does not care about what is best for Americans. We deserve this shit show. I just hope we survive the next couple years and can elect people who can repair the damage.

He did get the Electoral College votes, which I think need to stay. Otherwise the rural area/smaller states would not see the candidates, only the more populated areas would. I do have to say that my Senators vote against dt as do many of our Representatives.

Typical Republican response.

I still say that a majority of Republicans in office are staying silent when it comes to Trump. It's very discouraging.

And cut medical deductions and childcare deductions, all good for getting a job with no help. Pay 35% of GROSS income instead of 30% of adjusted for rent.
His mother did it alone oh so many years ago, but that was when an ordinary family lived on one income. Years ago extended family or neighbors watched you kids for a few bucks. Today people are working 2 and 3 jobs......

CNN story- Judge in Manafort case skeptical...saw this on the Conservative thread and thought I'd post it here- the judge doesn't just sound skeptical, he doesn't sound very impartial, at all, and almost partisan, actually. Not exactly the qualities a judge should have, in my opinion-- it sounds like he already has his mind made up before they even started the hearing.

No idea what the final decision will be but Twitter lawyers are saying judges love to hardass government prosecutors. However he will probably side with Mueller. If he doesn’t, the case can be transferred to the US Attorneys- EDNY.

Michael Isikoff
“Rosenstein stakes his ground at Montgomery Bar: It is a “bedrock principle” of DOJ not to turn over investigative reports to Congress re: ongoing cases. Cites Robert Jackson’s refusal to do so in 1941. To do so “would give aid to our enemies” and harm national security.”
This should concern both Democrsts and Republicans. Members of Congress are threatening to impeach Rosenstein if he does not turn over the documents of Mueller’s ongoing investigation to Congress. First it’s not done and second the thinking is if the documents were turned over to Congress, Members of Congress would then give that information to trump .The fact that GOP members of Congress would be willing to do this to protect trump should concern all Americans.
Either trump & company are guilty or not guilty but we will never know for sure unless the investigation is allowed to run its course without interference from Congress. I would think as Americans we could all agree on that. But it seems I could be wrong in thinking that.

I have thought all along that there would be some documents that should not be turned over to any one of them. Just think Nunes sulking around the WH in the dark to get the info from the dossier(?), or was it something else.. At this point, yes there needs to be a conclusion. A well documented conclusion!
