Hey guys!! Anyone interested in starting a thread for next week? This year I'm determined to finish and I'm hoping a thread will light a fire under my backside. I'm using the AE kit with some of the add-ons. As it turns out next week is going to be pretty eventful (last week at old job, favorite living author coming to town). Much more than usual!
I saw Ali's blog post yesterday about getting things together before next week and I figure we can keep each other going.

Im in. There was some inter-personal debate as to whether I would do this week or next but since its Tuesday and I've yet to take any photos, I am going to say I am participating next week!

I'm in! I bought the main kit and dividers and that's it. I have plenty of other stuff to use if I wish. I plan use both by phone and big camera but realistically I might just default to the phone for simplicity.

I’m going to attempt it. I did t last year for the first time and got pretty overwhelmed for the first 2 days until I decided to just focus on documenting one thing each day like mornings, work, evenings, details, etc. that helped me move along. I’m wondering how I should attack it this one. Last time I took way too many photos. I’m wondering if I should just do one photo at specific times each day like morning, lunch, dinner, quiet time.

Im focusing on one (or two) things a day. Thats all (mainly because my days aren't that interesting). My plan is to document different times of the day on the different days.

I started this past Saturday, so I'm almost finished. I ended up with something like 45 photos on Saturday and 37 on Sunday, but it dropped down after that. I also used yesterday as my "all iPhone" day, whereas the rest of the days I really try to only use my big camera.
Don't forget to get your sheets printed out, if you use them, for notes. I use the 8.5 x 11 one that breaks down the day by hours and then the general type stuff on the back.

I haven't done any prep work at all, and will probably start on Sunday (start prepping, that is).

I am doing this project. I did not buy the main kit, but did buy the album and a couple stamps and the chipboard set. I am curious how my day is going to go because I am working 5 12 hour shifts that week lol...so we shall see!

You overachiever dawnnikol. I've never actually finished one (although I have several partials) I would LOOOVE to follow your progress as you finish. mom I think focusing on one or two things is a great idea. I just don't want next week to seem like I'm intentionally trying to pack it in. Its so funny how life changes...when I first ordered the kit I thought to myself that the week for the project was going to be all about the routine things I do on any given day. Little did I know!!

I'm in. I have never finished one. I am hoping that with the smaller album I am able to keep it simple enough and actually finish it!

amp I haven't even opened everything, not because of my hoarding tendencies but because I like to leave things in the package until I use them. I'm thinking I'll unpack everything this weekend, start putting pages together (which may be aspirational) and then loosely write out what is supposed to happen each day. I'm home the following week, which gives me ample time to sit and focus on finishing. I need to organize my scrap area, which right now looks like a bomb exploded; I made a whole bunch of cards the last few days and EVERY single one needed a different little something, whether it was glow in the dark embossing powder or jewels for a shaker. Needless to say I finished up one last thing last night and did not even bother to clean up. So that will be step one!!

I'm in. This is one of those projects that I actually love to do, but do differently every year. I've completed, I think 4 years?!
I didn't buy anything new for this year, and am probably just incorporating it into my regular album versus a separate mini. I may just come up with a basic layout theme and go with that. I want to it to be very simple, few photos and more writing/introspection. I also have a few insert type layout ideas.
Still need to sort thru what I want to do, hoping to get a blog post up with my plan by Friday.

This is a project I get excited about. It’s such an interesting perspective of looking at a week in finer detail than normal. Last year was my first year, and boy was my album chunky. 😂 I got so much documented that makes me smile, I’m pleased with the album, even if it is too full. This year, I got the WITL kit and some extra supplies. I’ve only gone through them to make sure everything was there, so it will be fresh and new when I reopen it on Monday.

I am not worthy to post in the same thread as you (said in a Wayne and Garth type way). That looks amazing!! I hope to document as much this year. (This is my first year and I am excited!!)

I'm in. It's been awhile since I did this project. I've got my supplies together and ready to document next week. Put the album together sometime after that. But my kit and pieces are all sorted on the top shelf of my Roskog in the Fjalla box.

This will be my 4th year and I'm so excited, even though it's a huge undertaking! Last year is my only album that isn't 100% complete. I need to embellish and journal Wed-Sun still, ahhhh! I do have all the daily sheets, typed, printed and in the book with the days and journaling on a good number of photos but yikes, still a lot to do. Hopefully work will be slow this week and I can finish up a few more days. I freaking LOVE looking back on these albums. They might be my favorite, even more so than my December Daily albums!

This will be my 5th year and I have to admit I’ve only finished 2014. I am using the 3x8 album this year and am hoping I won’t go too silly with photos. I’m trying not to approach it as a DITL! My album is still with a friend though so I won’t have it for next week. I’m debating about buying some digitals or just printing previous years.

I'm in, this will be my fourth year (I think?). Love this project, it's been lovely watching my two little ones grow up through it. I never finished last year's album, but I do blog on the day so I at least get the words and pictures down somewhere. This year's WITL contains a bank holiday Monday and my birthday so not an average week, but I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm not sure what I'll do this year, if anything, because I'm not using my usual daily journal or doing pocket pages. But in the past I've enjoyed using Brandi Kincaid's little prompt sheets as a way to capture some fun details. This year she has a 3x8 version that would work perfectly as an insert between pages in a bigger album. Thought some of you WitLers might be interested.

I have never been to Brandi's shop before - thanks for linking! I love those prompt sheets. Now I'm inspired to do WITL next week even though I haven't bought anything for it and will have to put together my own kit from my stash - using those prompt sheets, of course. It's so simple but so helpful and fun, too.

I’m in, for my fourth year. Last year’s album is not quite done, I have all the photos in and journalling done, I just need to add stamps and embellishments.
I didn’t buy the main kit this year, just the album and the chipboard. I’ve gone through my stash and pulled out a DIY kit. I’m excited to get started!

She has used these sheets in fun ways in previous years - stapling little bits of ephemera to answer each prompt rather than writing something. I've done WitL the last couple of times just by printing her bigger prompt sheets out on copy paper, folding them and taping them into my page-a-day journal with a photo collage on the back of each page. They're also handy letter starters, when you want to send someone happy mail but you don't know where to begin - I bought the "right now" ones a while back. They're fun

Based on how unusually busy I've been the last couple of weeks I've decided to not even attempt WITL next week. All of my normally free time is being spent helping my flower lady neighbor getting ready for Mother's Day or spent at the ball fields (or doing some sort of driving for one or the other!) I'll either wait a week or wait until June...

On your marks.....
My WITL pre-game is starting today. I'm loosely thinking about what I'm doing this week, keeping in mind that for every event I need to take photos starting tomorrow. For Monday I know I'm home from work and I'm meeting a friend and his son for the first time before my friend finishes his paternity leave. Then I have to run the errands I didn't get done today (eyebrows, supermarket). And of course my reading goals for this week will be included. I forgot I have part one of a trilogy on my bookshelf, part two just came out and part three comes out in September. I need to get cracking!
What are you thinking about?

OOOOH I never heard of her (and now after Googling I have yet another author to check out. So much catnip. Thanks enabler ). I was talking about Joanna Shupe's 400 Series. I wish I had thought about including details about what I'm reading in past WITL projects. I think its such a cool idea that adds more detail to daily life.
