I almost bought this at Ms yesterday with my 50% off coupon... but set it back on the shelf because I'm not sure it would get a lot of use. If you have it, do you think its worth it? And what type of paper do you use to make envelopes? I made a couple last year for my Christmas cards but it turned out that they were too heavy to send through the mail and would have cost a fortune for postage.

I bought it, even though I wasn't much of a card maker, but I now make more cards because it is so easy to have matching envelopes, no matter what size I make my card.
I love using the thinner papers from paper stacks/pads that often have white on the back side. I can use them for making envelopes, and the leftover scraps on the cards. I use the white side out for the envelope. It's a good way to use papers that I am less inclined to use for scrapping.
I have also used lighter weight cardstock, and even heavier cardstock for making envelopes. I add extra postage if I use cardstock, especially if the card I made is a bit heavy.

Love it! I've found I prefer using thin, lightweight paper for envelopes with it. But you can also use it to make cute, small treat boxes, and gift card-size envelopes for presents. I think it's a pretty useful tool, and you can usually find it for cheap if you use a coupon at the big box craft stores.

Thanks for the feedback and the link to the other thread about it! I found myself stalking Ms again today and picked it up with my 50% off coupon. Looks like it was a good buy! Now I have to check out some of the YouTube videos!
Great idea on paper scrapnnana! I have bunch of paper from old stacks that might actually get used now!

I use mine for a lot more than envelopes, I´ve made boxes, bags etc. Pootles papercrafts has tons of cool tutorials to expand the use of your envelope punch board and make it more versatile

I love mine! I make almost all my envelopes now. I use the light paper too. It's easier to score and fold .

I have made a few boxes with mine, as well as envelopes. Lots of tutorials online for that!

I love making matching envelopes and what better way to use up all those paper stacks? I use heavier paper (i.e., K&Co 2-sided paper that's thicker) for making special gift/greeting cards but I don't send them through the mail.
