If you are like me, then sometimes, well, sometimes, I lose my mojo or maybe just my momentum. I have things I want to do but not the energy to do them. Also if my craftroom is getting unorganized I just can’t create. For this challenge, you’ll still get craft related things done, but not projects. For this challenge you need to spend some time on organizing, editing photos, cleaning, tagging digital kits, putting pages in albums, etc. Things that are needed, but not necessarily the fun part. Come tell us what you’ve done. This challenge runs all month.
For the May Team Challenge points you get 1 point for each one hour of work time. The time does not have to be consecutive, just keep track until your total is 60 minutes.

This is just what I need.
I haven't scrapped in at least two years and I really miss it. I have lost my Mojo and International Scrapbooking Day is coming up in 2 Days! I really want to participate but I need to straighten up my scraproom a bit. I started on Tuesday with cutting out some rubber stamps from unmounted sheets of rubber that have been sitting around for about a year-I was stuck in a chair getting an IV treatment that lasted for 3 hours so I figured that was a good time to do it. Today I got back for another 3 hours and I'm going to cut out the index sheets for those stamps that I use to make my stamp index. This is all part of my organizing.
When I get home and all day Friday I plan on organizing my scraproom so hopefully I can scrap all day May 5th. What have you got planned?
Oh, almost forgot-I've got over 8,000 photos from last year's trip to Poland and Germany to get through and edit. That'll take the rest of the month!

A 3 hour iv treatment does not sound fun, @ birukitty, but you certainly put the time to good use. I hope you get to do a little scrapbooking soon. And I think 8000 photos would take mea lot longer than a month.

excellent challenge - my mojo is still awol so hopefully doing some scrapbook-related stuff will help it come back.
I have a pile of purchases that need sorting and storing - one hour in and I'm not done yet....too much shopping, not enough scrapping I need to order photos for the high school album and both GS albums I need to scan April 2012

Glad you are able to keep your hands and mind busy while on a drip, birukitty. Hope you can get some of your photos printed so you can get those memories recorded. Good job getting organized, Linda! I COULD go a long time without buying anything, but I am pretty sure I won't! Was just going through the Paper Wishes catalog this morning... My scraproom is a disaster area. Piles on the counters nearing critical mass. So I may need to do an overhaul in here. Great that I can get some points for the time spent!

LisaDV and grammadee - I have NO more space for paper - my cubes are FULL to the brim. I need to get scrapping and USE some of it. That said, I did buy 2 albums and some purple cardstock tonight - but the cardstock is destined to be graduation invitations (school colours are purple and gold) and I was completely out of the right shade

A 3 hour iv treatment does not sound fun, @ birukitty, but you certainly put the time to good use. I hope you get to do a little scrapbooking soon. And I think 8000 photos would take mea lot longer than a month. It's not bad at all, actually. It's for a migraine treatment. I go for 3 days in a row. Yesterday was my last day. Seems to be working-no migraine in 5 days so that's an improvement. I'm very lucky that it isn't anything more serious and the hospital that I go to here locally is very nice. They have recliners set up in a sort of separate area, with a small TV, very nice nurses and yesterday two therapy dogs came by to visit-two Larbradoodles. Yeah, I think I was being overly optimistic on the the 8000 photos taking a month. But when I edit I just delete-I don't go in and fix photos. I'm old school. Was taught in college starting in 1979 during the film days. I have no clue how to do digital processing and am very computer challenged. Those 8000 photos I took on my Nikon DSLR-the way they looked when I clicked the shutter is how they stay A year ago I left on that trip so it's time to get to them!

I surprised myself and earned one point in this challenge! Today is my son's graduation from college, and while he is not participating in commencement, we are going to a nice dinner. So I pulled out some of my themed stuff to locate the graduation paper I had left from DS2, just waiting for this day.
In looking for that stuff I began rooting through iris bins and made piles of baby, Christmas, animals and birthday. Then I actually put that stuff away in their theme bins.
I also found 2 stickers for layouts finished long ago and I pulled those albums and made those stickers fit in the pages. Of course in pulling albums I had to peruse them and impress myself with how well I feel I captured the memories.
Then I took some of the stuff from one bag that I had left, put it with other stuff in another bag and emptied a bag!
Of course I immediately filled that bag with the graduation stuff I did actually find, along with some other things for current photos. So this is my first point for Lisa's Divas! Whoot!

scanned April 2012 layouts and got Jan-Apr 2012 into an album and on the shelf. I also re-scanned March 2012...didn't realise I had already scanned it - oops.
30 min from earlier and an hour and a half on this project for 2 more points. At this rate I might not get any scrapping done but I'll be nice and caught up on organising by the end of May, lol.

LisaDV, Can I join this challenge? I know that I am late to the game; but I really need to organize my room so I can scrapbook. All surfaces (desk, surrounding areas are covered with things I need to organize.

destined2bmom, definitely, everyone can play! I'm only at 45 minutes of cleaning, put away my kits from my March crop, organized my embossing folders, I'm missing a few, hopefully they'll turn up as I clean more and cleared a few more things. I also ordered more pockets for stamp organization and magnetic sheets for my metal die cuts.

I’m currently at 4 hrs 10 minutes as I attempted to tackle my embellishments today. I also found my missing embossing folders. Unfortunately there is probably many more hours if I had the wherewithal. Or the containers to sort more categories. 😆
So I think I’ll move on to another task.

My "organizations" last about 3 to 4 weeks. I started to plan my re-organization about a year ago ... but it's on my list.

I'm gonna go and add 1 point so far for this. I always tidy up after each LO so that adds up. But I got 17 new colours of Nuvos the other day so I had to sample those on to my black and white colour charts. Then, cause I've got so many now and I store them upside down (helps so much with them getting clogged and drying up), I wrote abbreviated names on the bottoms so I can find what I'm looking for better. So that was a lot of time. I also tidyed away all my Heidi Swapp hawthorne stuff that I used for my last blog post so I could get out this months stash (but I haven't done that). So I have sat and tidied for at least an hour in dribs and drabs I would say

I always do a double take when I see the header for this challenge on the MB, LisaDV. Hmmm.... "MAY get organized"--that should be a sign on my craftroom wall!

Earned 1 point for this challenge today. I spent an hour today organizing the pages I put together in April and May. I have some large albums on order (actually they arrived at the LSS yesterday, but not sure when I will be driving that way to pick them up), so my Spring 2018 pages are in a bright orange album LOL. But they are in an album and will be easy to transfer when I get the pretty teal one.
I am planning on a road trip to see kids and grandkids NEXT weekend (the 25th) and I like to take my completed albums with me, so that gave me a boot to get this done when I had some time.
I had hoped to get some organizing done in my craft room this month, but between decluttering boxes of hoarded stuff in the basement, and clearing out a freezer that died, finding places for plastic tubs, etc, the last thing I want to be doing when I collapse into the chair in my craftroom is ORGANIZE!

Y'all. I have busted it in my scrapbook room this week. I have spent 4 hours sorting every die cut, every label, every doobob, every sticker....and I finally found a way to store die cuts and labels that work for me. It was a time consuming job!

I'm claiming 4 points for 4 hours sorting out my desk the other day! I bought this This is something I have been wanting for years! Finally Crate Paper have produced it. I wanted something I could put the current stash I am working on for my DT projects, all in one place. And it had to hold 12x12. So this is my dream storage! I am in LOVE with it! But when I got it, my desktop looked like this No room for it at all. In fact, not much room for anything, I was struggling to put things anywhere cause the blimmen cat bed was taking up half my space. So after much rearranging, things going here, things going there, I ended up pretty much as I started with the 12x12 paper tray in the middle of the desk again. The cat got moved to the far left so I have space on my left to actually put stuff while I'm working. I am loving it, I love my new CP storage unit so much I'm thinking of buying another one (I really don't need a second) and I have gone and bought some pretty mint paint to paint it and also that ugly MDF paper tray. It was all all day job, I got a lot of stuff off the desk, giving me more space to work in and I am loving creating there! I take photos of stuff to send to my MUm, she's in NZ and we email every day, that's why I took photos of what I was doing lol!

kiwigirl, I'm so enamored with your scrap room view. Your rearrangement looks wonderful. I think it's sweet that you and your mum email daily. My sisters family (5) and I have one long txt message going. Just whoever and whenever to share. My 2 nieces have littles (1-5yo and 2- 2yo) so lots of baby pics. It's such a fabulous way to keep up. Linda, you are really getting organized! mom, please share how you are storing your die cuts and labels???
