I went to where I buy glasses to see about getting a prescription pair of sunglasses... yikes! Way more than I can afford. I can't see if I take my glasses off and wear a regular pair of glasses. They suggested cocoon sunglasses that fit over regular glasses. I looked at them online. Better price wise, but they look clunky. Anyone wear them and have a review for me? Comfort? Do they stay in place?

I had a pair of prescription sunglasses made through zennioptical.com. They were about $30.

I second zenni optical. I have several pairs of glasses from there.

I wear them and I like them. The fit is good - I know they're a little large but I hate the idea of taking one pair off and putting another on constantly.

I have a pair and I love them. Stay on great and are really comfortable. I forget I have my glasses on underneath. I bought mine at Cabela’s.

I ordered these the other day after reading favorable reviews. I haven't yet received them, so I can't say how well they work (or don't). Fitovers

I had a cheap pair from Wal-Mart. They were comfortable, did not fall off and looked pretty good. I got new larger glasses and could not find cocoon sunglasses that would work, so I ended up buying prescription sunglasses - I don't like the switching back and forth between regular glasses and sunglasses - I preferred the fit -overs. You might want to try an inexpensive pair to see how you like them

No cocoons for me--I buy my sunglasses as prescription from Costco.
