Is anyone up yet? I slept in this morning and well it will be a while before I sleep tonight I suspect. What are you guys up to? Anything fun going on? Good weather? Eaten at a fancy restaurant? Seen a great movie? Done some fun crafting? Went or hosted a party? Tell us what's going on in your world.
I went to the cemetery to see my mom and sister. That was nice. I go about once a month.
There is a cougar over near my BFF's house and she wasn't happy I told her. She has an indoor cat, but the neighbours have a really sweet outdoor one and cougars get hungry. It was sighted right in the neighbourhood where I want to live. There is quite a bit of agricultural land as well as lots of heavily treed areas. They are lurking. That was the drama near me tonight (I live about 4 km away from that) so it's still kind of close.
I am sure there is wildlife near my house, too. An owl tried to take out my 50 lb dog once. Yeah 15 lb owl is no match for a big poodle. It was interesting to watch. It got really close and then took off. Nice try, though.
