I would love to read that. It is definitely a story that needs to told from the other perspective. I loved Their eyes were watching God.

My son went to an HBCU and one of his English papers he chose to write about her. I helped him edit it and learned a lot about her. This book will be a fascinating read and might even change some people's hearts. I don't know.

This book will be a fascinating read and might even change some people's hearts. I don't know. My sister is a professor at an HBCU. They are removing everything that identifies them as a historically black college from their handbook and haven't hired a black faculty member in 4 years. I am stopping in this evening to pick up a copy I was lucky enough to find locally. Hope everyone enjoys it. |
