I really need to stop watching Jennifer McGuire’s videos.
Just when I think I am on a freeze she comes out another video showcasing some beautiful new stamp set I absolutely need, and makes a bunch of beautiful cards .
Earlier this week I only just resisted the mondo Sakura.
I just LOOOOVE fuschias , so today’s video hurt my wallet badly!

So true. I bit on Mondo Sakura. It arrived today and I think it will be a good one. I’m afraid to go look at JM’s video today. Both Ellen Hutson and Simon are having sales/coupons. I would say that 50% of the stamp sets I have bought over the last year have been the result of watching JM videos. I will have to say that I haven’t regretted buying any of them and they do work.

I know. Every time I watch a JM video I add about 20 things to my wishlist. Really like the look of the PPP fuchsia stamp set.

The coupon code you entered has been disabled so it can't be used. eta: i did some searching and it starts on the 13th. So I'll try again in a few hours. I don't know where Ellen Hutson is headquartered so maybe it's not the 13th there yet. Also, it ends on the 15th. |

I have to be careful watching videos, especially JM’s. I go looking for techniques and end up with a wishlist.

I try to only watch videos with products I already own, especially if I'm trying to save money. But inevitably they show some items that are new that I don't have and sometimes it's very difficult not to decide that I need them. There's a reason why companies give products to certain people.

But inevitably they show some items that are new that I don't have and sometimes it's very difficult not to decide that I need them. There's a reason why companies give products to certain people. Yes. It's really inexpensive advertising costs for the companies to give away free products to popular crafters who will then do a video with them. It's a smart way of boosting sales. I have seen quite a few videos that demonstrated a product, which then increased my interest in that particular product. In some cases, I would not have ever seriously considered buying the product otherwise, had it not been for seeing it demonstrated in a way that really showcased it. |

Yes....it made me smile when I saw pics of Vicki P at CHA and her name tag said “Vicky P...influencer” hahahahahaa.She sure influences me!! |

Earlier this week I only just resisted the mondo Sakura. I just LOOOOVE fuschias , so today’s video hurt my wallet badly! The Mondo Sakura is a winner. I succumbed. I colored it in with polychromos pencils in peach pastels and liked how it turned out. No layers or shading in the set but it’s a great one if you like to do watercolors or pencil shading. Sorry to be the bearer of bad/good news. Yeah Jennifer made me do it too. |
