I have cats, so they sleep where ever the most annoying place they can find. Either on me, on top of the clean laundry, or where ever will make the most amount of noise in the middle of the night when they move.

My girl standard poodle sleeps with me, on the bed, at her convenience. She jumps down if I touch her, move her or bump her. Then she wants back up again. She is the Queen of the family. She gets whatever she wants.

Right where they belong. In our king size bed with us. All three of them -a mini-doxie and 2 beagles. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Duke is usually in his kennel with the door open (his 2nd favorite place) and Pia has a big dog bed pillow next to his kennel. She won't go in a kennel at all. But most of the time we have two big dogs at our feet until we go to sleep, once Duke knows we're asleep he goes in kennel.

My sheltie had a little pillow bed by everyone's bed. She slept there. I didn't want her accustomed to sleeping on a bed with someone because it makes being kenneled that much more traumatic when the time comes they need to have a pet sitter or be kenneled.

Lizzy, our schnauzer, starts out the night tucked up against my left side, but usually heads under the bed once I start rolling into a ball. During the winter, she braves my sleep dancing and finds a safe space under the blankets at the small of my back. Si, our new pooch, has claimed his space at my feet his second week with us. I'm 5'1"...plenty of room for him. He doesn't care how much I move, he stays put. No one bothers DH because he snores and kicks if the blankets get tight around his feet. Si will sleep with ODS, too, right at his feet. He'll tuck in YDS but comes out of his room as soon as YDS is sleeping. Lizzy only sleeps by mom.

Wherever she wants.
She's all over the house during the night. I never know where I will find her.

The 3 cats sleep where they want. One in particular likes DH so she often cuddles with him. Our little dog usually sleeps on my chair. He'd prefer my bed, but it's small so he gets it during the day and the chair at night.

My border collie sleeps on the floor by my bed (her choice, she gets too hot on the bed), my 2 papillons and my havapoo sleep on the bed. I am so used to sleeping with dogs that I have a hard time imagining it any other way.

My sheltie sleeps beside our bed. The corgi used to sleep on the bed (king), but one night he fell off by accident. Our bed is three feet high and he is lucky he didn't break something. Now he sleeps under the bed. He doesn't even have to duck to get under it!

Our Wheaten sleeps on our bed at our feet until her fur gets long. When her fur is long (for winter) she prefers the tile floor in our master bathroom (a few feet from our bed). When I nap during the day, she curls up against my back.

We have three small dogs. One of them, our girl, usually sleeps in her box or on hot nights she will sleep on the fireplace tile or on the tile in the bathroom where it's cool. One of our boys usually likes to sleep on the couch that is in the sitting area of our bedroom or on our bed and the third, another boy who is my personal shadow, sleeps in bed with us. We just got a new Sleep Number bed last week and we purchased the headboard, footboard and side rails that go around the bed so he wouldn't go under the bed and chew on the tubing and wires. Previously he would sleep under the bed but a lot of times he would take things under the bed and chew them up. But now he can't get under the bed at all so she sleeps on top with us.
We have stairs for our dogs so they can easily get up and down from our bed so between the three of them there is usually one or the other on the bed throughout the night.

My two 6 month old kittens sleep either on our bed, or underneath it. We close the bedroom door at night so they can't run around the house like crazy, sounding like a herd of elephants. They settle down really quickly when we turn off the lights and usually curl up together on top of the blankets in between our legs. When I wake up they are usually on top of me.
Does anyone else ever get that funny thought in their head, like, "oh darn, I was just about to get out of bed but now the cat is asleep on my chest. Guess I'm stuck here until he wakes up." LOL

Frankenstein, my chug sleeps behind my head on a pillow. Hektor and Achilles, my 16 pound ragdolls sleep bunk bed style on my mum's recliner chair...one on the seat, one across the back. Gryffindor, our cranky 12 year old orange tom sleeps with my mum. And if he doesn't feel like getting up in the morning, the bed doesn't get made.

My cat sleeps in my bed, but my golden lab prefers the small hallway outside DD's room. I'm not sure if he is guarding her or if he just likes the cool hallway. He has occasionally hopped in bed with me, but he doesn't stay more than an hour.

My Golden gets up in the bed with me when I turn in, but after I turn the lights off he moves down to a spot under the window that he's occupied since we moved in here. Most times he gets back up in the bed in the morning before I get up.

Due to shoulder problems, I sleep on our living room couch--with the chiweenie next to my chest and the pitty at my feet. The border collie doesn't get on the furniture so she is usually on the floor next to the couch.

All three in bed with us!
Layla, our teeny 3 pound yorkie has to be touching me at night(and during the day!!). She sleeps under the quilt, but on top of the blankets and top sheet.
Spikey, our yorkie/chihuahua mix, usually sleeps at the foot on top of the covers.
Bayleigh, our shih-tzu, sleeps between my husband and my heads. Drives me crazy, but once she's asleep there is no moving her. She sleeps in the same spot all night long!

My cat BeBe usually starts out right beside my head for her nightly ear scratching and head bumping. She'll stay there for a while, then move to the bathroom sink! Tony the Tiger usually sleeps with DS. Snickers, my puppy, sleeps all over the bed...behind my neck, under the covers with his head on my foot, on my body pillow (again under the covers) with a head on my hip. Right now, he's curled up between my back and my pillow!

My schnauzer sleeps in a dog bed near the foot of our bed. My cat has a bed near there as well, but she usually sleeps on the floor in front of the opening to the master bath, probably hoping to trip me one night as I make a bleary-eyed walk to the loo. I can't do pets on beds, just not my thing.

Generally wherever I sleep. Bella is definitely my baby. She tries to beat me to the pillow and makes quite the noise if I attempt to move her. If I sleep on the couch, she sleeps at my feet and if I am in the bed, i generally get pushed towards the foot of the bed to begin and yes, I allow her to get away with it. The things we do for our babies haha. I used to have a ferret and she always climbed in to the sheets and slept at my feet. I still miss her.

I routinely wake up with the cat sleeping against my pillow, the Samoyed on the floor next to my bed and the German Shepherd Dog on my bed at my feet

Riker prefers to sleep on our bed, between us horizontally, taking up 3/4 of our king size bed, but is content to sleep in his doggy bed on the floor next to DH's side of the bed

We have three cats and a California King bed. Poker, DH's cat, sleeps against my knees. Max, my cat, sleeps between DH's legs. Oliver is usually on his back as the middle bar of the letter H with his back feet pushing me out of bed and his front feet pushing DH out of bed.

We have 2 shichons. Jasper sleeps in my bed evey night curled up against my back usually. Chloe either sleeps in my bed by my legs or sometimes I put her in dd's room because she wakes me up in the middle of the night with her licking but dd sleeps through it. Lately she has been sleeping in her crate with the door open. That is new for her and I am liking that.

Our dog sleeps in his bed inside of a crate, but we don't close it any more. Our cat sleeps in bed with us, she usually falls asleep on top of my husband and then moves over on me when he wakes up early in the morning. She gives him such dirty looks when he wakes her.

We have three dogs The biggest and littlest sleep in bed with us, usually under the covers lol. The puppy sleeps in with my dad who lives with us. She's claimed him as her person. The cats however never come anywhere near our bedrooms and sleep under SO's computer desk or on the front porch on top the picnic table or on the porch swing.

When it's DS's bedtime our dog follows goes his room and sleeps there on the floor. At some stage during the night, usually before we go to bed, he comes out of DS's room and lies on his mattress in the lounge room. Then when DSO gets up to go to work he comes into our room and has another hour or so sleep on our bed.
He used to sleep on our bed every night until last year when he started making these really annoying lip smacking noises throughout the night, not to mention the increased snoring that comes with old age.
