The Whippet shares the bed and will often go up there before I do. He has his own blanket that he moves around and fluffs to make it just right.
They Greyhounds have beds in our bedroom and always sleep in their particular bed. The big male has a crib mattress for a bed and it has a mattress pad, a fitted sheet as well as a blanket. Very inexpensive and so easy to keep clean.
The female has a poofy dog bed. I was going to get her a crib mattress too but she is terrified of the one we got for the male. Just got so tired of washing dog beds. The big ones are expensive, get smelly and lose the poofyness so I thought the crib mattresses would be ideal. I guess one out of two isn't bad.

Our cat, Poe, sleeps on the foot of the bed. Once Dh gets up, it's his signal to come and snuggle with me and have me pet him.

Our Poppy is a snuggler. She likes to snuggle up in the bend of your knee, the small of your back. She'll lay parallel to my legs and use my shin as a chin rest. She's always within petting distance to us when we're in bed.

If you drew a crime scene body outline on the bed, everything outside the line is where the cat owns. The other cat sleeps with son. Dog just wanders.
Actually the animals really don't sleep at night .

Ours are confined to the kitchen at night. They don't play nice with the cats.

Sophia the 14 pound furball sleeps in the living area of the house during the day and create all kinds of havoc at night. The one time I didn't close my bedroom door when she first came to live with us, I woke up feeling like I was dying because she was sleeping on my back. Moma doesn't roll like that.

My cats are kind enough to let me share their queen sized bed at night. I'm so lucky.
Most Siamese love to snuggle. With my boy, Kobe and my girl, Misty it's whoever gets there first gets to sleep right by my side. Whoever gets there second will lie on top of the first one to get them to move or try to squeeze their way in between. My other girl, Kylie, just sleeps at the foot of the bed. She used to snuggle buy Misty kind of bullies her and she back's down. When it gets cooler they all sit on my lap, but since they don't all fit they kind of hang off the sides.

Cat and small dog - on my husband and my bed. Since the cat is now going through his first shedding period and has long fur, I regret this decision made 8 months ago; however, I don't have the heart to put him out now.

Our 23 lb. Terrier sleeps at the foot of the bed on his comfy blanket. Some nights he'll sleep on the couch alone. At times he sleeps fitfully, some snoring, and sometimes I believe he is dreaming of chipmunks and the little shit will kick and 'run' and bark in his sleep.
