Everything related to Scan N Cut is gone, although I noticed Design N Cut boxes behind the check out counter.
I also noticed a combination cutter and embosser. I think it was called Gemini. I can't remember who makes it. It may have been there before, but I had not seen it. No price for the machine was shown, and I did not see any behind the registers.
There were some empty spaces where dies had been. There were still some dies, but it looked sparse. The same was true for clear stamps. It looked like they were making room for new products.
The scrapbook and stamp section looked different, although not entirely. I can hope they are getting new things. It would be nice if they do. I hardly ever go there anymore. The only thing I went for yesterday was to buy a few shirts to decorate with HTV. I also bought some stamens for making 3D flowers for cards, but that was it. I haven't bought anything scrapbook or stamp related there for awhile.

I hope they are doing a re-set and with good stuff (aka stuff I like). I haven't seen much in the way of "must-have" scrap/paper crafting products for quite some time.

Shimelle announced that they'll be carrying her sticker book, but she didn't mention any of her other products

Your Michael’s carries Scan and Cut and Gemini? The only electronic scrapping item mine have is the Cricut.
My closest Michael’s moved their location a couple of months. They do have more Sizzix dies—older ones of course. They also added the Bella Blvd faith line and some stamps but that’s about it. Hobby Lobby re-did theirs and they added more Tim Holtz products, ink, and more stamps. At least neither store has eliminated scrap/cardmaking items.

They have the Gemini, but the Scan N Cut is gone and has been replaced by the Design N Cut. They also have the Silhouette Cameo, Cricut Explore Air 2 (Martha Stewart version), and the Cricut Maker. They have a pretty good selection of vinyl, including Siser heat transfer vinyl. It's not the least expensive source, but in a pinch, when I have needed a different color fast and didn't have time to order online, I have bought HTV there.

I was told about Brother items that they want to carry ScannCut at sewing retailers and online. Design & Cut is going to be considered their hobbyist machine sold in big craft stores. Apparently JoAnn's is going the Michael's route too. I know my store started carrying the Gemini but Hobby Lobby has had it for an eternity now. Least it seems like that.
I was told they are extending the Cricut line. They will be doing a lot more vinyl. Doing a lot more home decor. I know they are getting in some new clear stamps and more Jane Davenport. They are extending planner supplies too. I am quiet so people love to gossip with me, lol. I like talking to the managers. I guess I am one of the weird ones I will compliment them on something.
I went to Michael's a month ago. I walked out with nothing. The last few times I walked out with nothing. I think they have so many pretty things. I think my crafting style has changed so much that I don't need those things. When I do buy something it is to recreate those pretty things. I tend to buy paper and stickers. I love their cardstock for my die cutters.
If they ever got rid of photo boxes I would cry. I buy a lot of photo box storage from Michael's and 12x12 cases every year. It is like once a year I take my DH in there and we grab two carts and fill it to the brim with storage for both of us. Michael's hands down is my favorite storage box store, lol.

Mine put out the end cap for Finnabair, but never stocked it. Said no plans to either. Disappointing - they are so inconsistent!

I buy: -ATG adhesive -Photo boxes -Iris cases -8.5x11 colored cardstock
All with a coupon. They just don’t have anything the appeals to me in the design area.

Mine had a tiny section of the Finnabair and none of the Shimelle stickers.
I did find the sticker books at ac moore, for freaking $20, along with ones from the other AC celebs. I know the coupon would cut that in half, but I still couldn't bring myself to buy one.

The Finnabair end cap at my local M's was fully stocked and all on sale at 40% off! I didn't notice too many changes at my local M's. Same stuff, same setup. Lot of stuff was 40% off (Tim Holtz, storage items, etc.) I noticed that my M's no longer sells Canon products. I guess their contract with Canon must have ended. I saw one Canon photo printer and one Selphy in the clearance section.

I don't know if that's true though. BTW have you used any of the sticker books yet? I was very disappointed in the one Jenn Hadfield(?) one I bought - tons of stickers, but they were basically copy paper weight. I couldn't use them the way I normally use stickers (overlapping layers of stickers on cards). I had to put them on vellum and fussy cut around them to give them some body to make them work. Somehow they look fine with Shimelle uses them, but I had to be careful not to tear them getting them off the sheet. Definitely not ~$17 value for me, especially with a lot of planner themed ones (at least in the book I chose).

I actually don't mind the thinner paper, but the price wasn't at all reflective of the quality. I would have bought some if they were priced reasonably.

I accidentally cut into my Gemini magnetic shim and went on line to Michaels to check out what Gemini supplies they carry. For most of the accessories such as the shim, you have to order a minimum of 12! Why in the world would I want to pay almost $200 and buy 12 of them. I can only use one at a time and at most might want one in reserve. Seems a pretty stupid sales strategy to me.

Michaels online has never been of any value to me.

I know they’re different stores but my local Joann and hobby lobby have pared down the scrapbook stuff to their house designs only, and hobby lobby is down to two aisles. Used to be 8!!!
