DH and I fortunately both have the passion of sports. We do love the same teams. It kinda got us together. Now it's kinda funny when the college teams come that's a little harder. We're both big BYU fans and DH's family is HUGE Utahfans so the red and blue collide in November. LOL They are a huge rivalry. For the NFL it's the Green Bay Packers for both of us, my dad and most of his family so no issues there. NBA - it's the Suns and we love that Jeff Hornacek is coaching-finally someone to rebuild. Dh's passion is Baseball, mine is NFL Football and College Football And now of course soccer. Do you watch the games with your family? With hopefully no blood shed! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Nope. One Sheffield Wednesday fan in a family of Sheffield United fans. Can't think where we went wrong.

Unfortunately not. DSO and DS follow the same football side (Melbourne), DD follows the same football side as her dad (Western Bulldogs), and I follow a different side again - the same team as my dad (Hawthorn).
My kids should have followed the same team as me, my team is on top of the ladder and is the reigning Premier, but their teams are near the bottom and haven't won a premiership since 1954 and 1964 !!!

I follow the Oakland Raiders, just like my parents. SO is not into football, so he doesn't care. I live in a place that is bad to be a Raider fan, though!

We all root for the Coyotes. Don't really follow any other major league American sport. 4 of us are Canadian and the youngest is American by birth, so come Olympic time, it can get a little hairy. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg) Men's World Cup is no biggie, Canada never makes it. Women's on the other hand, it can get ugly. lol Canadians aren't big college sports people. Don't really get the big whoop.

I am the only baseball fan in our house, so that is a non-issue ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) For everything else, fortunately, we are all fans of the same teams. I fear it could turn ugly if that weren't the case ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

Nope. We're all Packers fans here-football is really the only sport we follow. We do have some friends, though that are cowboys or even Bears fans, (man, it hurt to type that)

Haha. This can be kind of a hot button issue around here. My DH grew up mear MSU, which is where we now live as well, and is a big Spartan fan. DS goes to Michigan, about an hour away. Of course he cheers for his own school although he is still a Spartan fan as well. I really did not think this would be an issue, I mean we aren't sports nuts or anything in this house, but there have been a few heated arguments between DS and DH at football time. Where I work, a fair number of people went to each school so it is more of a friendly rivalry kind of thing.

I am a HUGE Gator fan. I graduated from there. I have several family members who graduated from there. College football season was great! With the exception of one lonely UGA fan, we were good.
Then all of a sudden there was a desertion to other teams. Another UGA grad. An FSU grad. A USF grad.
And now? Mine own flesh and blood is traitorously attending LSU. I don't know where we wen't wrong, I know I raised him right-the boy came home from the hospital in a Gator orange and blue teeny weeny hat. But alas, he has strayed from the path of righteousness.
*sigh*

My family loves sports and we pretty much are all on the same page. We are mostly into baseball and we all absolutely love the New York Yankees. Football we root for the Giants and my DH likes college basketball and loves Syracuse.

No. It makes for some tense days in this house. My DH knew I loved him the day I gave him a Bears welcome mat. The Seahawk in me is still a bit ashamed.
He is a Yankees fan. I like the Red Sox. How we stay married is a mystery.

Sadly, no. I taught my kids well and they support the Steelers. But I didn't get my hands on dh till he was grown and past training age so he supports a team that is not the Steelers. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

We live in the Pittsburgh area, but neither of us are from here. My husband likes the Pgh. teams and I don't like any of the Pgh. teams. I like the Washington DC and Baltimore teams. For colleges, I went to law school where he went to college. I am not a fan of that school's teams, but I am a fan of Univ. of MD, where I went to college! I was on the pom squad there, so very much a football/basketball fan after performing at all their games for 4 yrs.! We are very competitive in our house!

We are fine when it comes to pro sports. But college is another story. DH likes Michigan and I went to Michigan State. We have a doormat that is half and half and says, "A House Divided." Just the other day we both happened to be wearing our college shirts and we were walking the dog. We went past a big party and all the guys were calling out go green or go blue. It was really funny.

We have a house that's usually divided. Our favorite sport is football, and for professional football, we're split between the Bears and the Packers. For college football, the kids and I are Bama fans, but DH is not. He seems to pull for USC and most teams who are playing against Alabama. We sometimes watch other sports, but aren't really loyal fans of any particular team. Although it would be nice if the Cubs won a World Series during my children's lifetimes (I'm not holding out much hope for my lifetime!)

The main sports rivalry in our house is Manchester City v Chelsea. Some serious smack-talk goes on during dinner. At least they are less argumentative during the World Cup!

Hah. I grew up in DC and am a GIANT Redskins fan (I think it's completely up to the Native Americans whether the name stays or goes). We are all Redskins fans. As for other teams, my daughter is a giant, giant sports fan and since I don't care about anything but football, I am on her side for whatever we watch.
Except for soccer and then it's US all the way. We do NOT know what we're going to do if both the US and Switzerland win tomorrow. We're half Swiss!

No.
Football, I am a Patriots fan, DH is a Packers fan (although we both like each other's teams) and DS is a Bengals fan. Hockey, DH is a Flames fan, DD is a Jets fan and DS is a Devils fan. I no longer care very much.

Well most of us are except my 18 year old son.. We are all Bronco fans and for whatever reason he choose to be a Chief's fan... that doesn't ring well with us Bronco fans.. so I made him move out and join the Air Force so I don't have to listen to him.. HAHAHA.... but cute enough, my six year old dd is stepping in his shoes and rooting for the Chiefs in his place... LOL
College... no one is really a fan, but I get on the MIZZOU bandwagon for my friends/family who went there.

Yes and no. We love college football, specifically SEC teams. My husband is a Georgia fan. I am a South Carolina fan. We will both pull for the other team as long as they aren't playing each other. Our kids are also Georgia fans. So there is that one day a year that it gets quite interesting in our house. It's all in good fun (for the most part).
We both are Atlanta Falcons fans. Used to really keep up with the Braves but they had so many changes one year and then dh lost interest after one of the strikes. So now we really don't know who's who on the team.

I am a NY Giants fan, but not hardcore. DH is a die-hard Bronco fan. It hasn't caused any issues. Hockey, we both love the Avs, but the Devils are my passion. We kind of clash over that, but DH bends to me for two games a year. Both like the Rockies and don't care about basketball. College: CSU, CU, and UNColorado DSs are LSU and Bama fans so they clash, but they are 13 and almost 10 so what do they know

Nope.
I don't watch a lot of sports, but I am definitely a Giants fan. I didn't find out until AFTER I was married that my husband loves the Cowboys!! I wouldn't have gone out on a second date, much less married the man had I known this, lol.
Both my boys have drunk the Kool-Aid, so I am alone throughout the season. And I have to look at the seats he bought when they tore Texas Stadium down.
Luckily, my 'Dallas Sucks' tee shirt still fits me.
