of scrapping goodies? I was going through some old old stuff, and found some Making Memories paper packs, tons of buttons. Were the buttons Making Menories too?

I used to love that!!
They had some really amazing stuff for super cheap.
Why did they stop carrying scrap stuff?

Making Memories is the one scrapbook company that I miss. I still have a boatload of their product in my stash.

I purchased waaaaay too much stuff there. Tuesday Morning prices aren't as good, but there's better variety.

I didn't buy a lot there (poor selection at my store maybe?) but I did buy one of my most favorite tools there--a mini scallop deco-scissor! I love the mini scallop it cuts, but I'm afraid it's going to stop working some day because it only cuts half of what it should.

Ours quit carrying scrap goodies a couple of years ago. I was so disappointed!

I remember when our Big Lots would have lots of American Craft products & packs of 12x12 AC paper that was a great buy. They quit carrying any craft supplies a few years ago when they redid the stores here. I don't go in there anymore now.
Our Tuesday Mornings made up for that big time, i love finding all the AC products there now.

Just about the time I discovered Big Lots, they eliminated their scrap section and then the store closed... I think I bought a suitcase there in 2011 the last time I went in there.

When I first started scrapping I bought most of my stash at Big Lots. What I originally bought is no longer my style, so I got rid of most of it. One thing that I kept (although I haven't used it much) was a case of Fiskars deco scissors, punches, and corner rounders. Our Tuesday Morning has more scrapping supplies than our Big Lots ever did. I was just at Tuesday Morning Sunday and they had some 7Gypsies ephemera packs from this year!

None of the Big Lots in my area ever carried much more than super crappy stickers like the ones they sell in the kids’ section of the drug stores. I was amazed at the finds other Peas talked about. That and Home Goods. No scrapping stuff in mine. However, I have found a few nice things at my Tuesday Morning. I recently got a cute little Spellbinders die set and some Graphic 45 stamps.

Making Memories had buttons to match their papers. They also made fabric covered buttons for some of their kid’s lines.
