To have your font permanently changed hit the reply button and pick how you want it to look. Then copy the BBCode without your text and go to your profile. Edit profile and go to settings. From there under posting default select BBCode and it will give you a box to enter your code into. Paste your code and hit save. Ok I am totally confused. What is the BBCode you speak of?

billstergirl, if you click on "Reply" - not quick reply - and scroll down a bit, the BBCode option is there on the left, next to "Preview"...

I saw this posted somewhere else, but on the ipad (maybe iPhone also, not sure), you can swipe from the very edge of your screen and swipe the current page off your screen and go back to previous page/menu/board. I found this super-handy.

Do we have the option to turn off signatures? That was going to be my question! All the graphics make it hard for me to browse inconspicuously at work

Does anyone know if/how we can use personal smilies on an iPad? I can use the pre-loaded smilies by tapping on them, but that doesn't seem to work with the personal ones I loaded.

Sort of like the Jump function on 2peas - if you are at the top of the page in NSBR Resurrected, it says Forum > General > NSBR Resurrected. If you hover your cursor over "General" the other forums become available via drop down list and you can jump to the other forums, like General Scrappin, Recipes, etc. That was new for me!!!

Thanks, Ceescraps. Here's my new smiley: It's already become very useful on the "New Message Board" thread.

Thanks for all the tips! I am sure at some point I will get around to trying them. I am not very computer smart though so most of what you speak of is mumble jumble to me.

To have your font permanently changed hit the reply button and pick how you want it to look. Then copy the BBCode without your text and go to your profile. Edit profile and go to settings. From there under posting default select BBCode and it will give you a box to enter your code into. Paste your code and hit save. I think I figured this out. But when I'm typing my post, I see all the code and have to type in between the brackets of the BBCode. And the type on my board is TINY until I publish the post. Is there an easier way?

I can't get the default font to work. BBC code--I clicked on what I wanted, copied/pasted it into the settings box. When I save it I see it in the "quick reply" box and in the "reply" box. Hmmmm.....wisdom please Me too. I have to type in between the code brackets. Maybe there's a step we're missing.

This is probably old news to everyone else, but if you click the new button on the thread title, it takes you to new posts since you last clicked on the thread. I LOVE that! I'm not finding a NEW button. I'm usually on an iPad. Maybe that makes a difference.

Ok...I figured out an extra couple steps to the personal font directions that makes it a bit easier.
To have your font permanently changed 1) hit the reply button and pick how you want it to look. 2) Then copy the BBCode, deleting your text 3) Go to your profile 4) Edit profile 5) Go to settings.
From there, under posting default, select BBCode and it will give you a box to enter your code into. Paste your code.
Put your curser between the brackets and hit "return" a couple times to put some space in there. (See photo)
When you reply to posts you will be in the BBCode area and you'll see the code. Start typing in the blank space and switch over to the Preview area where you can finish your post without looking at all the code.
