I bought the Pixma MG7120 with the help of the Peas on the old board and I love it. So far I have not printed pictures. Before I invest in photo paper, which paper do you recommend for photos, both glossy and matte? Should I use the Canon photo paper? Has anyone used HP photo paper in this printer as I have quite a lot of photo printer left over from my HP? Any other photo printing tips with this printer would also be appreciated.

I have the Canon Pixma MG5150 and always use Canon photo paper. I mostly use Glossy II for photos and Matte for printables and journaling cards etc for Project Life.

Thank you, Annie. If you buy online, where have you found the best prices?

I love Epson photo paper. I have had 3 photo printers and used numerous different brands of photo paper and I keep going back to epson photo paper. We did a comparison with papers when we bought our newest printer big format printer. WE also have a canon pixma 480 we have used it for years. It has been a good little printer but we still use Epson paper in it.
I did some black and white photos a while back and I used the Epson mat finish paper and they turned out really nice.

Ilford has some nice paper too. I wish I could find it locally still and didn't have to pay for shipping.
