He is a cutie! I love living vicariously through you with this. I think your spirit of adventure is awesome! And who knows, some day you may be on here saying you can't believe YOUR twins are now 10 years old.
Brandy, I remember you said you met your husband on line, but I didn't realize how very young you both were. That is awesome to just know that he was the one, and to have it end up in a happy marriage, even though the odds were against it working due to both your age and the distance. I am a hopeless romantic, and I adore your story.

I am a hopeless romantic, and I adore your story. Yes, we were very young. Even after all this time, the odds that I met him still astound me. We were both in the same mIRC chat room (there were thousands of rooms to choose from) and I asked who liked country music and he responded. There were approximately 3500 people in that one specific room. When he told me his age, I almost stopped talking to him...because not only was he 17 but he'd JUST turned 17. I was like eeek!!! I kept in the back of my head that my parents had 7 years between them, so 3 didn't really sound all that bad. LOL But it really was one of those things that I knew that first night I met him that he was the one for me...thankfully, he felt the same way right away. Within a week, we knew we were going to get married. The rest is history.  I did wait for 4-5 months before I told my parents. I thank God that they were supportive...I KNOW they didn't like the whole idea. But they REALLY liked my dh. He would call the house on holidays and instead of asking for me, he'd ask to talk to my dad and wish him a happy holiday and chat it up with my dad. My dh is a VERY likable person...I haven't met anyone that DOESN'T like him. He's the type of person that people love to be around. Olan - Oh wow - he is a cutie!!! |

Glad to have the update! He is VERY cute! I was one who thought you should just GO FOR IT and take the trip, so glad to hear it worked out so well. I hope things fall into place for you both.
