Would you shave your head? Have you?

This is definitely going to take some getting used to. I didn't think about it at all when i was working last night, but every now and then I'd catch myself in the mirror and it was a little jarring but that is pretty typical of any change so likely just a time thing.

Showering was super odd feeling but doing my hair afterwards made me want to keep it shaved forever. I got caught in a crazy downpour and my hair was perfect so I celebrated and then realized how much of the rain my hair usually keeps off of my face. I'm going to need an umbrella.

I didn't realize his tongue was split until I looked back at the picture but DH and I had some conversation about it last night. It confuses me so much, mostly because I truly had no idea. Somehow it doesn't affect his speech at all. I feel like I'm going to have so many questions the next time I go.

i was actually surprised by the kids responses. Usually they think I'm old, tragically unhip, and simply ridiculous. I saw 2/3 of the boys yesterday and before I had it done had a conversation with Josh and he said he thought it would look really cool and I should do it. He's seen the picture, but closed last night and I'm old so i was asleep before he got home. After it was done, I saw the youngest and he said "I think it's going to need to grow on me, it's a big change." but he happily sat across from me at lunch (mostly because I was buying!) so I'll take it. DH is definitely a fan.

I had a party last night and the girls were pretty excited about it with lots of questions. Absolutely zero reaction out and about in public which was kind of nice as I was feeling a little self-conscious running errands after I left the barber shop yesterday.
