"She was supposed to be a Russian bot. That seemed like the best explanation for @amymek. No normal person could be so prolific and prejudiced. For five years, the mysterious Twitter account ― which has more than 200,000 followers, including Sean Hannity, Roseanne Barr and the personal account of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and has earned endorsements from Donald Trump and Michael Flynn ― has tirelessly spewed far-right propaganda and, above all, Islamophobia. Around 25 tweets a day, sometimes more, the majority of them designed to stoke hatred of Muslims." m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5b0d9e40e4b0802d69cf0264/ampHer spin on what's happening.

Lying, racist piece of human garbage is now weaponizing her white woman tears because she got called out for what she is.

If she didnt want her identity revealed she should not have gone online tweeting hateful, racist comments. When you put yourself out there on public forums you can’t cry foul when you are held to account for the things you say. Good for huffington post.

It's okay for her to provide pictures of people that she deems damaging to her "cause," along with their contact information, to her supporters. It's just not okay to call her on it or do the same thing to her.

I wonder what causes someone to be filled with so much hate.
Moving around the state to follow a man who murdered is mentally off, IMO.

And many Republican Christians say there there is a war on Christianity in our country. I guess it is okay for our government officials to use this vile woman's platform for votes since it isn't directed towards their religion. I guess hate speech towards others is okay as long as it isn't directed towards a certain population. Why do I say that? I say that because those people voted for Trump! TRUMP and and people on his staff follow this woman! THIS IS NOT OKAY! Yet people defend Trump and his staff. Amazingly sad!

Lordy. So is she mentally ill? Is that what it is? I just do not understand. The "mentally ill" thing has gotten dropped so often recently that it's overwhelming. Please know I'm not attacking you for asking about it, but we need to STOP branding every racist, sexist, ignorant asshole as "mentally ill" and chalking it up to that. Mental illness is real, and extremely varied in terms of specific diagnoses and accompanying behaviors. Racism, sexism and cruelty should not be "excused" or "explained" by labeling someone as mentally ill (with no medical knowledge of them or ability to diagnose). We need to stop this language, because it's damaging to those who truly do suffer from actual mental illnesses, and because we need to stop explaining away hate.

Please don't insult those who actually suffer mental illness by lumping this woman and her hate-filled view with them. Yes, she has issues, but those issues are the fact that she believes it is okay to insult and spew hate about others because their religion/sexuality/nationality/beliefs are different than hers, not because she suffers from mental illness.

Thank you for this (the not attacking part). Seriously, though, if she's going to follow a murderer around the country, isn't that mental illness? It seems to me that this is one of the more ridiculous (that's not the word I want, but I can't figure out what to use instead) maybe more serious? more pervasive?? instances I've read about of someone who is that hateful/vocal about it/racist. I just do not understand how someone can be that incredibly awful unless there's something seriously wrong. But I do understand the point you are making, and I appreciate your straightforward and not-rude way of explaining it. (lordy, I'm having problems with word choices today, please forgive me, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.)

(lordy, I'm having problems with word choices today, please forgive me, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.) I totally get you. It's hard to wrap our brains around this kind of behavior, and often we believe that someone must be "sick" in order to do these things. I myself have been guilty of making similar comments, and I'm trying to be better about catching myself in it. I think that it's possible that she has some sort of mental health issues to be following a prisoner, but just because we don't understand someone's bad behavior does not mean they're ill. But I appreciate your post and I do feel you that it's hard to reconcile this behavior with a well person's actions.

TRUMP and and people on his staff follow this woman! THIS IS NOT OKAY! Yet people defend Trump and his staff. Amazingly sad! I have never seen so much hypocrisy and hatred as I have from the Evangelical Christian Trump supporters. It's truly disgusting how they have thrown over EVERY teaching of Jesus in favor of an orange, bigoted golden calf. They say that he is a good Christian and he represents their values and they are willing to overlook every single thing that he has said or done - things that Jesus would surely find abhorrent. I've known some good people who are Christian. But I have to say that seeing this behavior has made me question every single person I run into who is openly faithful - I want to know are they a follower of Christ and the teachings in the NT, or are they a follower of Trump? Because you can't be a good follower of Christ and also a follower of Trump at the same time. Christians I have no problem with. Trumpist Evangelicals I would prefer to stay far, far away from. You will know them by their fruits...and from those trees, no good fruit will come.
