I would love a good commencement speech. Unfortunately, all the graduations I have been to have been deadly boring. I am proud of my graduates. My daughter got her bachelor's degree a year ago and then she did the fast track of getting her masters in one year at the age of 42 this last month. The graduation ceremony was a zoo and it was a test of endurance to sit there for 2 hours. But I still am extremely proud of my daughter and the perseverance it took to get those degrees. A riveting commencement speech would have been nice.
