The deadline to register to vote in the primaries for Maryland is June 5th. I had changed my party to Independent but just changed it back to Democrat because Maryland is one of those states that have closed primaries-if you are an Independent you can't vote in a primary. It's so easy to do online. If you are an independent party member (I was a Green Party Member) keep this in mind. It will vary depending on your state whether you can vote in the primary.
Voting is crucial if we want to change things! Use your power to vote every time you can. For those of us who want better gun control don't let this opportunity slip by.
I've been getting flyers for weeks now by delegates who are running in Maryland. I looked them up to see what there stances are on the issues. I will continue to research everyone who is running (we have a lot of folks running for a number of offices) until the Primary occurs. Anyone taking money from the NRA in the past won't get my vote.
