Depends on the owner of the name. In the US most would pronounce it as Jean. Zhawn if she's French.

Nothing surprises me with names. If I was to guess, I'd go with Jean - but with the popularity of double names, I could see Jeee-Ann as well.

Jean or the French pronunciation. But I have heard of people who pronounce it Jeanie. It annoys me, but I guess it's their business.

Jeanne Robertson the comedian pronounces hers as Jeanie. In the UK we would pronounce it as Jean. I would check.
The French pronunciation is Zhann (rhymes with can) which is the female name. That is different from the French pronunciation of Jean, the male name, which is Zhawn (rhymes with dawn). Both are derived from John.

Jean or Jean-nie, depending on what the person wanted. MIL’s given middle name was spelled Joan but her mother pronounced it Jo-Ann which confused everyone. MIL hated that so much that when she married FIL she officially changed the spelling to Joann. Problem solved!

However the person whose name it is asks me to. Of course, most people would, but there are times that you need to say the name before you can ask or listen to how they pronounce it. Just reading it and if I had to guess I would say Jean, but wouldn’t be surprised to hear it Jeannie or any other variation posted above.

It was my dad's mother's name. He doesn't talk about her so I have no idea! #truestory. I could ask but I don't want to.

I know one Joan, pronounced Joann and an Evelyn pronounced Evie-lynn. It's like a new movement to take traditional names and break them into new sounds.

It would never occur to me to pronounce Joan as JoAnn or Jeanne as JeAnne. When MIL told us the story about her middle name, I thought it very odd that her mom spelled it one way but pronounced it in a totally different, unintuitive way. If she wanted the name pronounced Joann why not just spell it Joann? Maybe DH’s grandma was just being Cre8ive, LOL. ETA: his mom would be in her mid 70’s if she was still alive so DGMIL was way ahead of her time!

Unless otherwise corrected I’d have pronounced it Jean as well A girl I knew who said the proper French pronunciation of her name Jeanne was Jen-nae? I guess that’s just how she wants it pronounced then. Nothing surprises me about how people pronounce names. I’m good with it, just don’t change your preference on me once I get it right, my brain doesn’t switch so easily.

Jean (sounds like Gene) is more typically spelled this way from what I've seen.
Jeanne could be pronounced Jean, Jeannie or the French way that sounds more like Zhen
ETA - my French teacher change my name to Jeanne and pronounced it in one syllable that began with a Zh sound.
I hated the name. My name doesn't even begin with a J.

(I know someone's gonna come tell me that it's not an accent mark in French, but whatever it's actually called, it's the mark that signals in French that you pronounce the E with an "ay" sound. Like in fiance/finacee... if only I knew how to make that mark on my keyboard.)

My middle name is Joan, pronounced JoAnn. So was my mom's. I never asked either mom or Grandma why it was the case, so I guess I'll never know! Grandma's name was Johanna, maybe that had something to do with it?!
